Latest from the Tollywood is that Trisha and Charmee have been confirmed as the leading ladies for Balakrishna’s latest with Boyapati Srinu.
Though the film was announced a few months back, heroines were not confirmed. But now the makers have confirmed that Trisha will be playing the main lead opposite Balakrishna and Charmee would be the second heroine in the film.
Rumorus floating in Kollywood indicate that either Trisha or Amala Paul might be roped in as Suriya’s heroine in Dhruva Natchathiram, which would be Suriya’s next film after the upcoming Singam-2. The film is to be directed by Suriya’s favourite director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who has come out with blockbuster movies like Kaaka Kaaka and Vaaranayam Aayiram with Suriya in the lead.
Trisha has signed yet another women centric film. This untitled film is going to be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. Pandian is the director of the film and PVR Raju is producing the film under H Productions banner.
Trisha is presently part of Jiiva's Endrendrum Punnagai and Jayam Ravi's Boologam and still continues to rule the roost.
Meanwhile, buzz is that she has been roped in by Paandian, who directed Arun Vijay's Priyam, for his forthcoming project.
It is said that the movie is about the emotional bond between three friends.
Though Trisha hasn't confirmed signing for the project, the director said Trisha would be playing the lead in his and felt happy about it.
Endrendrum Punnagai directed by Ahmed and starring Jiiva and Trisha in the lead roles, seems to be shaping up pretty well.
The team is gearing up to head to Europe for an important schedule. The director, meanwhile, is optmistic, that the film touted to be a feel-good entertainer will grab the attention of the young audience.
He said that Endrendrum... is close to what Aamir Khan's Dil Chahta Hai sought to portray and appreciated the performance of Jiiva and Trisha.
Endrendrum Punnagai starring Jiiva and Trisha in the lead and directed by Ahmed, is shaping up pretty well.
The film also has Vinay, Andrea Jeremiah, Nasser and Santhanam in key roles while Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music.
Meanwhile, news is filtering in that Jiiva plays the role of a film director in the movie while Vinay is a cameraman and comedian Santhanam is a production manager.
Trisha who is without doubt one of the heart-throbs of south Indian cinema, continues to rule the roost even after being around for a decade.
She will soon be seen in a new avatar. Trisha has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the international ice-cream brand 'Magnum'. She launched the same in Chennai on Tuesday.
Trisha wrote on her Twitter feed: “Happy 2 announce Ill b d brand ambassador fr my most fav ice cream brand.Soon 2 b launched in India..Will kip u posted.til ten Ssshhhhhhh.”
