Hero Pawan Kalyan has decided to go ahead with the sequel of last year’s super hit film Gabbar Singh and for this he has preferred to have Sampath Nandi of Racha fame to be the director and not Harish Shankar. In fact Harish Shankar had directed Gabbar Singh.
Presently the hero is busy with Attarintiki Daredhi and once he is done with the film he will be starting the Gabbar Singh sequel.
It seems Pawan Kalyan is keen to do Gabbar Singh 2 on lines with Dabangg 2, but with a slight change. He is likely to wield the mega phone instead of Harish Shankar!
Going by the reports in Tollywood, Pawan Kalyan is presently busy scripting Gabbar Singh 2. The film is a sequel to last year’s biggest hit Gabbar Singh that was directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh. Moreover, the film will be produced by the hero himself under Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner.
The latest buzz in the Tollywood is that the lead pair of Gabbar Singh is coming together again to recreate the magic on screen.
According to the sources, Shruti has been confirmed as one of the leading ladies in the new Pawan Kalyan movie with Sampath Nanadi. It was earlier announced that Kajal Agarwal would be part of the team, but it is now hinted that she might not be part of this film as she has commitments in Bollywood. This film is being produced by Sharat Marar. The makers have recently confirmed the casting of Shruti Haasan in the film.
Director Harish Shankar is planning to give an interesting and special gift to Jr NTR on his birthday which falls on May 20. He will unveil the first look of their forthcoming film on NTR's birthday as his gift. The name of the film will be announced only after the release of Badshah.
Jr NTR and Harish Shankar’s film is progressing fast and the pre-production works are completed. After the hero wraps up the work with Srinu Vytla’s Badshah, they plan to immediately start shooting for the film. Meanwhile, there was news that Shruti Haasan has been roped in for the film to play the second heroine. This was immediately denied by Shruti.
Bandla Ganesh, the producer of last year’s blockbuster Gabbar Singh is facing the wrath of income tax officials. They raided his house yesterday and the raids are continuing today also. Ganesh started his career as a supporting actor. He acted in numerous films and also in television serials.
Shruti Haasan, one of the rising stars of Tamil cinema, and the daughter of Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, celebrated her birthday on Monday.
The actress-singer-musician has composed tunes for Kamal's movie Unnai Pol Oruvan and has also rendered several numbers including the popular number “Kann Azhaga…” from the film 3.
