Well, The title itself suggests that the Movie is all about Farhaan Akhtar’s brilliance, be it in the acting field or dancing around the trees. :d Farhaan has showed the world he can not only direct but dance(Hritik’s Birthday party ) and act (Luck By Chance) and Sing (Rock On). If this was not all he is rocking the television sets with his different yet convincing Hosting Style in “Oye !!! It’s Friday). He sure has the Brain of Einstein on his Head. He can surely give those who’s who of the Bollywood Stars like Bachchhans, Khans, and Roshans a run for their Money. Story and Screenplay : Zoya Akhtar didn’t have to much of the work so far as the Script is concerned coz the content is just another Struggler’s life saga who comes to Mumbai and makes the mark. Although she impressed with the Screenplay as this was the only tool with which she could grip the audience to their seats. Every now and then the guest appearances of the Well known celebrities of the bollywood keeps the flow of the movie alive. Direction : Zoya Akhtar has already proven her worth as an assistant director to Farhaan in lakshya and Dil Chahta Hai. Luck by Chance adds one more star in the sky of Zoya’s Potentially Long Career as a Director as Kismat Talkies is already under Production. She has brought out good performances from all the Other Actors besides Farhaan and Konkona. Cast and Performance : Farhaan as already mentioned gives yet another Superlative and perhaps more brilliant performance after and than Rock On. Man!! This Guy is a genius. Konkona Sen Sharma as always gives the signature par excellence performance as the lead heroine in the movie. Isha Sharwani looks good as newcomer in the Movie. Rishi Kapoor and Dimple also give soul to their characters as ever. Sanjay kapoor also justifies his character. All the Other actors in guest Appearance were also to the mark. Hritik’s character was strong but he didn’t play as was expected from him. Music : After a long time Shankar Ehsaan Loy disappoints their Fans with such a lame Music. They had fairly convenient script for their liberty to make Music but they were boringly forgettable. Sapno se Bhare Naina although is a catchy tune. Lyrics by Javed Akhtar could not do much as the Music did not back it up well. Just call the waiter and order your popcorns and go to the loo if you have during the Songs. Technicals : Other Technicals were not outstanding and not bad also. They were Okay . Choreography in the Hritik’s Song was Pathetic. Costumes were also Yuckkk…. I cant think of any reason why people make mistake when they have such a liberty to work ?.. Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhaan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar has saved a lot of money I must say. :d But the performance of Farhan Akhtar and Konkona Sen Sharma takes the Movie to thw whole new level altogether. The Movie is not boring for sure if you watch the Movie with your brain on. ;) 3 Stars for this honest Effort. UD… |

Well, “The Ring Continues” defines that the Scenes of the Movie Raaz- The Mystery Continues are almost Carbon Copy OF the Hollywwod Horor Block Buster The Ring (Both parts) and some the storyline too has been adopted from the Movie. And Mind it. It is not the Sequel to the Earlier Raaz. But All in all the Movie stands out for more than one reason which are : Story and Screenplay : The Story is largely inspired from the Ring but the Indianaized Version of the Story makes it believable for the So called believers of the subject. Otherwise the youngistan generation would find it hard to Grasp being the Supernatural Drama. But mind-blowing Screenplay of Shagufta Rafique helped the Subject give the thorough strength. Direction : Mohit Suri , just 4 movie old before Raaz- The Mystery Continues , has, would you believe , done a remarkable job in handling such a Volatile Subjact Considering the fact the Horror Movies Don’t do well in India like it does in the Hollywood. And Goodness Gracious me, Mohit Portrays Emraan Hashmi like no one could. The Story looses grip in the Climax but Mohit’s Treatment has saved the Movie and made it rather convincing. Cast and Performance : Emraan Hashmi steals the Show with Career boosting performance. No wonder when Mohit is directing, Emaraan makes it count like he did in Zeher and Aawarapan. His looks were also designed to match the subject and does the trick. Kangna, after Fashion , Gives yet another Power packed performance. This Girls surely has Talent. Adhyayan Suman(kid of well-known Celebrity Shekhar Suman) gives Convincing Performance so far as the debut Performance Gors . But the Movie Won’t Do much help to him as such since the Show was stolen completely by Kangna and Emraan. Jackie Shroff looks Okay as Emaraan Dad. But he is pathetic as the Ghost in the Movie. Music : Now comes the Most Brilliant Part of the Movie. MUSIC. Which has rocked the Charts all over the World. Maahi , O Jaana, and banda re and kaisa yeh raaz hai are Supirior in terms of the Totality. And Soniyo by Sonu Nigam is just the feather on the head. Yes. Sonu Nigam is Sonu Nigam. Although I like the other version of the song Soniyo beter. Lyrics as usual by Sayeed Qadri unforgettable. Raju Singh the Music Director surely deserves Three Chers. Technicals : Background Score in the Horor Flicks plays a huge part and Raju Singh made it authentic. Editing and Special Effects are of impressive Quality. Not much attention is diverted to the technicalities as the Vishesh Films(Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt’s Production house) leaves no room for error so far as the Technicalities are concerned. Now, I would really love to excuse those Frame To Frame copied Scenes of the Ring in light of honest effort of making the movie so entertaining. 3.5 Stars all the way to the team of Raaz. UD… |

Gajhini ,a name which symbolizes the Path Breaking Cinematic Achiever of the year and of all times, is a cinematic Genius in it’s own Right. Yet I would beg to differ on certain points which makes it short on making the Most of the Sources. Why? Here is the answer Story and Screenplay : Well. Mr. Murugadoss didn’t have to do much for this as “Memento “ would have already provided the help Needed. Come on, If you are adopting (Here I mean COPY) the Story and Screenplay then give the original Writers some credit by Displaying their names in the Credits… The Story is Copy of the French Hollywood Flick “Memento”.so One Star for finding such a movie to copy. Screenplay is good and bad Simultaneously coz the Story makes it look good but the Length of the scenes makes it look really awful. Direction : A.R. Murugadosss must have thought Priyadarshan makes huge money out of making the tamil versions of their movie into hindi and casting Who’s who of Bollywood. But He failed to make an impact as to Originality. Some of the Scenes are masterfully Presented but overall., Direction Looses Strength in terms of the Movie has been Given a Typical South Indian Look which makes it hard to Swallow. Cast and Performance : Well the Most Pathetic Part of the Movie was It’s Casting Excepting the Case of Aamir Khan.and Jiya Khan And to an extent Asin. Pradip Rawat is Horrible as the central Character of Ghajini..Khalid as Aamir’s manager looks a bit Odd in terms of Reality. Tinu Anad makes a good Impact as Asin’s boss. Who came up with an idea of casting That Inspector as the Inspactor in the Movie?... he is full of typically south masal Acting. He makes the Movie So UN REAL yaar. I wished if I had got a chance I would have killed him if didn’t meet with an accident. :D But Aamir tells the world at large why he is known as “The Perfectionist”. He delivers Career Best Performance in the Movie. Jiya Khan Looks Authentic as the Medical Student except in the A Song. Asin is photogenic but she clearly gives the image that she is new to the world of Authentic acting. Music : Well A R Rahman Disappoints in terms of totality. Only Two of the songs (Behka and Kaise Mujhe) of the entire Album sounds like Composed by the magician Known as Rahman. Gujariush might have become the Chart Toppper but it is Not Rahman’s Music. Technicals : Well if you look at technicals overall. The Movie Gives a Nice and Easy Hollywood Flick Looks. But some of the Ares could have been Better. Back Ground Music was Too Lousy. Sometimes it goes into ears like Train is passing through your Head. Editing is Superb. Action Sequences Although look a bit over ambitious but are spectacular. Cinematography is Excellent. Nonw the Best Part of the Movie was…… Guess??? Well it’s not Aamir Khan. It’s Rahul and Himanshu Nanda, for H R Enterprise. Surprised?... wel they were the publicity Designers of the Movie. And lemme tell you no one would have done the marketing like this movie was Promoted in the entire year. Aamir had to come right down on the Streets and Cut Peoples’ Hair. How Much you can Bend yaar?.. And Guess What?.. the strategy Worked. The Movie Got the Biggest Opening anyone could ever imagine. And still doing Business. It has Broken all the Records so far the Box Office returns are concerned. But Personally I didn’t like the movie that Much. So.. Three Stars For me. One Star Entirely Goes to H R Enterprise for marketing the Movie. One is For Aamir and the Rest Goes to other technical Crew. UD… |

Well lemme clear I mentioned the Superhit word for the Movie Jodi and not the actual Pair in the Moive (SRK and Anushka) coz they look like Uncle and Niece for Sure in the Movie. :D. Story and Screenplay : Adi (Aditya Chopra) does the magic again with coming up with a Story So larger Than Life yet So Real. So far as the Arranged marriages Go. I don’t from where he comes up with this Love Stories yaar?.. all in al the Story is fresh and New and To an extent Original although it has shades of The Classics like Navrang and Satyam Shivam Sundram. Screenplay ?? well it bores in few of the scenes but over all the Movie Needs those scenes so accepted. The Ending is really a blunder as it was highly predictable in terms of the pair winnig the Competition but the way in which they won was not quite Dramatic as it would been otherwise. Story of Yash Raj Movies by Adi is always Super Hit. Direction : Remember DDLJ??? And Mohabatein??? Well here is Adi once again creating Magic with exceptional Love Storytelling . he is Flawless in the Directorial Point Of View Except the Climax. But Since Adi was the Writer of the Script and Dilogues an also the Screenplay Arranger, the movie was entirely his baby and he did a marvelous job in all respects. Adi is as always Super Hit. Cast Performance : SRK… should I ad anything else????????? It’s his Territory(Romantic Movies) and he has done as usual breath taking work . What Makes this Movie Stand Apart from all other Love Stories of his is that he actually didn’t repeated those Stereotype Glycerin Tears and Gajhal Like Dialogues and Overly protecticve Lover acting. He Did inch perfact justice to the characters of Both Suri and Raj. Anushka looks good in tandem and and acts fantastic considering her Debut Movie. Vinay Pathak is Excellent as ever. SRK is as always Super Hit. Music : Salim Suileman did a fairly Good Job in producing the Situation based Music. The Songs are already chart busters so no need to define any songs in particular. But I would really highlight this Song for the Supiriority of Sonu Nigam. “Phir MIlenge, Chalte Chalte” he has sung it like a legend. Remember he had to Produce the vopise of Kishore Kumar, Mohd. Rafi, Mukesh Pancham Da and Himslef as well to create the actual effect the song required. And trust me he has done a remarkable job. No wonder he is the best in the business. Jaydeep Sahni Wrote good Lyrics. Music is Super hit. Technicals : Cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran is very good. Background score by Salim Suileman is fairly impressive in terms of deviating from the usual stereotype AALAPS of the YRF movies. ChoreoGraphy is Considerably Good . although Vaibhavi Merchant didn’t deliever as was expected from her. Shimak Does a fantastic Job in “Phir MIlenge” Other things were again connected to Adi so he is already praised. :D. al;; in all technically bhi movie is Super Hit. Although the Reigning Success of the Movie Ghajini and The Story being a bit more mature to be understood and most importantly grasped by every class of ages. But still the Movie is a hit at the Box Office as well and the second Biggest Grosser of the Year. And j hence I am rating this Movie as 3.5 stars. Way to go Adi. And SRK . Keep Doing the God Work. Hey you all the FILMY FANATICS……….Yeah yeah I know you were waiting for this……….but aal the good things come after the waiting….so…here it is….the much awaited movie….KISMAT KONNECTION….( I don’t know what’s up with the “K”…I think yeh log to paanchvi paas se bhi bhi gaye guzre hai….hahhahhah)…….So here is the review you all were waiting for……I hope I wont let you down….. KIsmat Konnection…..(with the “k”..;)…in two words can be described as “ Loose Connection”.. ( my spelling is Vokay so I wont make that mistake….ahahahahhahaah)…if you wanna know why?.........raed the following Paragraph….. STORY : Well the Story part is like a ………..am I missing something?.........it is not confusing but it is DAMN PREDICTIBLE…….i mean you can predict the end of the movie right in the Fourth Scene… yar move on …..we have seen it..we have heard it a million times……the same old ,over boy with ambitions…the same old Mixed up in not going anywhere relationship Girl…they meet up..the ambitions get in the way….boy gives up on the ambitions and the Surpried man comes to the rescue….we know it yaar…….so 1 Str to the Story…….sorry but that is all I can give……Sorry Rahilia….you blew up this time…. Direction : Well now this is where it gets reasly tricky…coz…when you know what os gonna happen next….you seem to believe everything that is happening…so Aziz Mirza did a marvellous job in keeping the predictibel thisn redictible enough…..hahahahaa….it was really good in but he could have got something more out of Shahid and Vidya……anyways..3 stars for Direction…… Cast Performance : I know I know…all you Girls out there are waiting for Shahid’s Performance Report…..He did a marvellous Job In the movie…… well in fact only he and in some parts of the movie Vidya did also well….but honestly I think they both were not upto the potential….…..did the show for the Mirzas….otherwise no one else realy was impressive enough…. Om Puri was good…others were just good to fill in give some rest to Shahid and Vidya. So over all.3 stars to Cast… What the hell was Shahruk was doing in the begginnig?............i mean are you still trying to make a HIT Out of this movie?....hahahah Music :. Hmmm.Aye Paapi and Move your Body Now…. Were the two songs which caught the attenction…and the one by Atif…well but over all…the music also lacks the touch of melody Pritam Showed in Jab We Met. ……. Hey Pritam is biggest copy cat you know?...........i will tell you some other time ……. Technicals : Well the Screen play was real;y pathetic…some of the scens were so long and and unwanted …..The Dilougues was for me the USP of the movie…..Sanjay Chel( remember Rangeela) did a early good job inn this deptt. All the other deptts. Were good….i also loved the Styling oF Shahid and Vidya. Shabina Khan. Did a rely good job… Good Job… ….. UD’s favourite Scene……….. it is when Vidya Tellls Shahid ths#at he broke her trust……well both of them really acted tremendous in that scene….but yaar I was laughing my a$$ off coz I know …they are gonna be joining the hands after two scenes….ahhahaahhaa So……over all nothing Special in the movie…but al the Boys and girls who like to see those SRK type Slow paced Crying and Smiling back movies will like it…..for me it was really a LOOSE CONNECTION. Welll sisnce there is not an addition to Ada in movies column of the site so uploading the music revew here under this movie as it is also a Rahman Movie....... Hey you all the Filmy Fanatics……………By Popular requests and a huge Public Demand…………UD’s Back as always BETTER THAN EVER ….:D…..this time also with something you’ll remember for a long time………….Movie Reviews of SARKAR RAJ and SHURYA and MERE BAAP PAHELE AAP and Also Music Reviews of Janne tu ya Janne naa…………. And Ada by the all time greatest musician and the living legend……MR. A R Rahman…And this is not all…I am also offffering you with the preview Second Most Awaited movie of this year after Dashavtaram by Kamal Hasan……> DRONA… Starring Abhisheik And Priyanka…………… So are you ready to be rocked???????????????? Well………The Meastro of Music..the living legen..is back….A R Rahman is back again with the magic. As the tagline indicates “The musical journey of A R Rahman” continues with ADA. The experiment of Rahman with Rashid Ali. Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Chithra,Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan makes a come back in Rahman’s team. Sunidhi Chauhan, Viviane Chaix, Chitra, Sukhwinder Singh, Naresh Iyer, Udit Narayan, Parul Mishra & Jayachandran gets a chance in the album as well. Ada (Male Version) - The maestro makes the title song always a masterpiece. ADA starts off very well. Rashid Ali continues his magic with Rahman. We’ve never heard of him. Maybe a new guy who’s gotten a chance to sing for the great maestro. Rashid does a great job and will be in Rahman’s favorites for long. The song after seems to be a slow poison that I will have to get use to and I know I will like it once I do get used to it. The chorus seems to be catchy. There are compositions that Rahman makes will you will instantly fall in love with, then there many which you will have to get used to. But once you do then you realize how great his work is. Hawa Sun Hawa - Alka Yagnik makes a come back to the team and seems to be a great return with this song. She doesn’t sound stale like she has in past few songs. Alka seems to be fresh and very young. This one is a lovely, soft, feel-good song that I can really relate to. Watch out for the flutes in the middlle, amazing work by A R Rahman. The song backed up by a strong lyrics. Just close your eyes and get swept away by this great composition. Gum Sum - Labelled to be a Non ARR compositon by the critics. Its a kind of ordinary tunes and beats used in the song. The veterans Sonu and Alka are back with this song. Its an upbeat number with good lyrics and is also used to be a remix number, with Nokia teams up with Rahman. The weaker number from the lot of songs in this album. Gulfisha - Sunidhi gets a break with the song. Sunidhi makes a shine with this song. Her presence in this song makes Sonu look like he isn’t even there. Beautifully sung. This composition broke the genre barriers. Rahman is all over in the place with this song. Hats off to Sunidhi for sounding so powerful. Meherbaan - I have dedicated this song to someone special for me, So as should be everyone who have special in your mind. I guarantee you that this is the special gift you can ever give to your loved ones. Thanks to Rahman. Rahman behind the mic with his mezmerizing voice. The maestro takes us to heaven with this song. It is sure that the song has some magic in it. Thanks a lot to Jithin for notifying me about this song. I love Rahman’s range. Just absolutely adore his voice. This is probably the strongest song in this entire album. Rahman turns down the volume here when it comes to background score. from low pitch to hig h range all over in the song. Everything is smooth. And he let’s the lyrics and his voice do the work. If you hear this song you will feel its worth buying this album. Tu Mera Hai - Classic Chitra starts this song off with her high notes. She’s an absolute delight to hear. I haven’t heard her for long since the starting notes of Rang de Basanti. So it was nice experience to listen to her again. This is practically her song and she carries it with Sukhwinder, a lending support. This is a great, dark, serious song that is very catchy as well. I didn’t need any time getting used to this track. I liked it from word go. Hai Dard - Slow sad song of Udit Narayan. song backed up by deep lyrics. It’s not a song that I would repeat though. Its something I’d listen to once and forget. Ada (Female Version) - Similar to the male version. This is the first time Rahman lets Parul Mishra sing. The voice we have never heard before. She does well and has a complete different voice. A voice that can suit situational tracks in my opinion. Overall, good song. Just got to get used to it like the male version. Milo Wahan Wahan - the next great song in this album. Nice background music used, with the violins and strings as most effective part. This is a mature song with amazing lyrics. This song is more focussed on AR Rahman’s beats and tunes. Rahman is the most versatile and most impressive indian music director out there at the moment and if anyone have a question on this, just listen to this song. Alka is very good in her low notes. Male singer JayaChandran is pure and unique. It is the first time he is singing for an Hindi cinema and he does absolutely great. More hopes on this great singer. There is something about this voice that just stands out. Really I liked this song. A R Rahman ends the album with an impressive track. Meherbaan and Milo Wahan Wahan stands out in this album. There are other songs like Ada, Hawa Sun Hawa and Tu Meri Hai which are good tracks. But it seems to be a slow poison. Later it will create an impact on every music lovers. Every reviewer must get puzzled on how to judge or rate. Keep listening to these tracks to really find out how good they are. There are some songs that you instantly praise and some that you are doubtful about. Nice soft, romantic, depressive, smooth, calm and chiller album here from Rahman. Not the best work ever from Rahman, but really a good stuff. Four stars.. out of Five Stars …. Yaar ..Rahman Saab aap ki Zindgi ka har ek pal ek link hai divinity ki taraf..hum to bas aap ke music ke qayal hai……Jeete Raho….. UD… |

Well……….This is a first ever attempt of mine on Chakpak I would say of Music Rview …Hope you would like it….as much as you liked Reading the Movie Reviews………. Jane tu ya Jaane Naa……….Music tale….Composed by none aothr than the Greates of them all…A.R.Rahman….(Vanya..i fully agree withy you dear…He’s the best ever…)…….lemme give you the track listing first…. - Kabhi Kabhi Aditi | Rashid Ali
- Pappu Can’t Dance | Anupama , Benny Dayal, Blaaze , Tanvi, Darshana ,Satish Subramaniam , Aslam
- Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai | Runa
- Nazrein Milaana , Nazrein Churaana | Anupama , Benny Dayal, Darshana, Tanvi , Satish Chakravarthy , Naresh Iyer , Swetha , Bhargavi
- Tu Bole …. Main Boloon | A R Rahman
- Kahin To | Rashid Ali , Vasundara Das
- Jaane Tu Meri Kya Hai |Sukhwinder Singh………
…..First things first - when the best of the best of 2008 would be written down, the number 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi' would definitely find a mention. Crooned by newcomer Rashid Ali who is being introduced by Rahman on Bollywood musical arena, the song is beautiful from the word GO, the moment guitar strings mark the song's beginning. Rashid's voice is just perfect for an actor who is being launched in a youthful romantic entertainer and the singer utilizes the big platform to the fullest. While Abbas' lyrics go truly with contemporary times, it is a nice change to hear a Rahman composition in a truly mainstream cinema rather than the historical/period/issue based films for which he has been creating music for quite some time now….yaar yeh gaana to mein sun sun ke abs are doston kop aka diya hai…hahhahahaha In true Rahman style, he gets together a bunch of singers for the track 'Pappu Can't Dance'. Well, this is the track which is supposedly a spoof on Salman Khan's on and off screen image and has been making news in last few days. The song's beginning has a rhythm which has formed a part of the racy proceedings in the first teaser of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa that had kick started the film's promotion a few weeks back…Just a song like Strawberry Aankhen from Sapnay…….. t's a new sound at the very beginning of 'Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai (Aditi)' that hooks you on instantaneously. This very rhythm stays throughout this song which is crooned for the female character of the film, Aditi, by yet another relative newcomer Runa. If the song's haunting tune wasn't enough, the way Runa renders the track makes it one as the sad theme of the song conveys what the protagonist is going through. A number about a girl remembering the times gone by with the boy she loved, 'Jaane Tu' is composed in a style, which is similar to that of 'Zara Zara' [Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein] and hence can be expected to grow over a period of time. Guitar is at play once again in the number 'Nazrein Milaana Nazrein Churaana'. The best song to arrive after 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi', 'Nazrein' deserves to be the next song in line for promotion. Packed with youthful energy, the number has a Rahman stamp all over it and goes in perfectly well with the film's campus mood. In fact just one hearing and you are sure to carry the number along for your next camp fire outing. The album continues to become better with every passing song, especially so the moment the title song arrives. Surprisingly, instead of 'Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa', it is titled 'Tu Bole Main Boloon', which are the opening words of the song. Sung by Rahman himself, the song is a funny take on how this guy and the girl have two different perspectives to everything, even though at the end what they mean is just the same! A bona fide jazz number with soft drums, saxophone and other associated musical instruments in tow, 'Tu Bole' has an international feel to it in the way it's entire arrangements are done…Touch of His master creativity….Long Live Rahman Sahab….. After a brilliant 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi', Rashid Ali returns with 'Kahin To Hogi Ho' where he has Vasundara Das for company. Yet another beautiful number which carries an Indi-pop feel to it, this love song has such a serene feel to it that one can't help playing the number on a repeat mode. This is a kind of a soft romantic number that you wish to preserve in your iPod and play it your loved one at the first given opportunity. A brilliant number which makes it two out of two for Rashid Ali!..True Rahman Song……..After a long time great to see Rahman Sahab with such melodious and soulful music……Chak de pahttte…… The soundtrack here is unlike a conventional Bollywood score and instead introduces a style, which goes with the contemporary youthful setting. Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa is an album, which deserves to be bought this season. With Jannat being the only album which is registering good sales and no other album from past or present matching it's performance on the stands, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa by A.R. Rahman comes as welcome relief……. 4 and a Half Stars for me on this Music………..Great work Rahmans Sahab…….. UD…. |

Well……….Shaurya in THREE words can be described as “ SHAURYA FOR SURE ” and the exact resons are depicted below……… Ø Story : The Movies with courtroom dramas have also interested me. And that’s one of the reasons why I was longing to watch Shaurya. And also the out of the box plot was also one of the reasons. And Shaurya doesn’t disappoint, though it falls at a few places. Overall, the film is extremely thought-provoking and exposes the viewers to a disturbing truth. The writers and director deserves a pat for choosing such a subject for a film. The film has several hard-hitting moments which remains etched in a viewer’s mind even after the film concludes…The story written by Samar Khan, Aparna Malhotra and Joydeep Sarkar was excellent though it was not original (taken from Hollywood flick A Few Good Men)… But hey the good work is always a good work… Ø Direction : Well…….Samar Khan whom you might remember from the movie Kuchh Meeetha Ho Jaaye around three years ago,did really surprise by giving such a remarkable show in the movie…It also proves that he is capable of handling difficult subjects. He also deserves kudos for handling the film in a realistic and sensitive manner, without producing any hate or controversy. I hope he does well in his forthcoming films as well!.....SO best of luck to Samar Khan….Another Khan in the industry?....my god can’t you employ any persons who is not a khan?.........hahaaahha Ø Cast Performance : The best performers of the film are without a shred of doubt Rahul Bose and Kay Kay Menon. This has to be Rahul Bose’s one of the finest performances of his career. The way he does his each role with utmost perfection is worth applauding. In Shaurya too, he was absolutely perfect and doesn’t disappoint or overact even in a scene. He claims that at present he has 10 projects in his hand and I am eagerly waiting for his 3 films-Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam, Mumbai Chakachak and The Japanese Wife. I hope all his 10 films are successful. Best of luck, Mr Bose! Kay Kay Menon was outstanding. Though he was there in a brief role, it is his outstanding performance which will remain in your mind for a long time after coming out of the theatre. His entry scene was terrific! In the climax, his speech in an angry tone shocks you as to what this actor is capable of! Kay Kay Menon has given memorable performance in movies like Chhal, Deewar, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Sarkar, Corporate, BLACK FRIDAY, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Life in a…Metro etc but his performance in Shaurya stands out from the rest of his performances! Splendid work, Kay Kay! Jaaved Jaaferi fails to impress. And he hardly had anything to do in the second half. I think he should concenterate only in comic roles. Deepak Dobriyal who impressed everyone in Omkara and 1971, again manages to come up with an excellent performance. He shines in the flashback sequence and the interrogation sequence. Minishaa Lamba looked great and gave a good performance. Seema Biswas was okay. Amrita Rao as Vikram Rathore’s wife gave a powerful performance, though she was there in a special appearance. The guy enacting the role of Vikram Rathore was also good. Others were fine………Oh yaar cast ke bareein mein ab nkuchh jyaada hi likh liya chalo aur kuchh baat kart a hun…;)…hahaaha Ø Music : Adnan Sami did not impress this time at all………I mean it was just not his musical genmious….still one song….Dheere Dheere ….Nothing more t music section as you can always excuse the Music Director coz didn’t have such a romantic comedy type movie to make a music for…..nad everybody can’t be A R Rahman……hahahaha Ø Technicals : Cinematography was normal but in some aerial scenes, it was fantastic. Sanjid Datta, the editor, could have done a better job. Background score was proper. Aparna Malhotra’s dialogues were sharp, especially in the climax. MY Goodnes in the last Scene Kay Kay is hust Roaring. Like a lion…… he reminded me of Aby’s Baby in Guru…..oydeep Sarkar’s screenplay was excellent and gripping but lackluster in a few places. Now.. lemme draw your attention to my favorite scene in the movie where Kay Kay Asks to join Rahul Bose on a cup of coffee and after meeting him he humiliates him…then Rahul asks for Permission to leav but kay Kay tells him…” 36 days, 200 kilometeres. 350 person’s Work is neede to bring this little of coffee for you at his 18000 Ft. above in this cold…so if you don’t like coffee that’s fine but I won’t tolerate the disrespect of thoses efforts….so just have it…..”…..Claps claps…wow what a scene……. Hope you enjoyed the review as much I did writing it…… this is really a nice movie…go and watch it….buy only Original DVD..it costs very minimal amount…..Avoid Piracy as it hurts the efforts of the all the guys I named above….. UD…. |

And Ada by the all time greatest musician and the living legend……MR. A R Rahman…And this is not all…I am also offffering you with the prievew Second Most Awaited movie of this year after Dashavtaram by Kamal hasan……> DRONA… Starrring Abhisheik And Priyanka…………… So are you ready to be rocked???????????????? Well……….Sarkar Raj…. One of The Most Awaited movies for me this year…. And this was the movie I was really excited to see first day first show…although I watch almost every movie first day itself….;)…..hahhhaa.. Now…Sarkar Raj….. In two Words…. “ Emporer Rules….”… you must hgave got the idea whom I am talking about…?????? Yeah it’s true it’s the GOD of Indian Cinema…..MR. Amitabh Bachchan….byt his rtealtion Abhicheik is A Prince and my goodnesss has he given the performance of a lifetime or what…..!!!.....Just read the follwiing paragraphs and you’ll bow down to these Father Son Duo…for sure…. Ø Story : Everyone who has seen Sarkar will agree to the fact that it’s a movie which comes once in a lifetime. Wonderful direction, brilliant performances and most importantly, excellent climax and lots of such other factors made Sarkar truly remarkable and unforgettable. And therefore one would expect Sarkar Raj, Sarkar’s sequel to be much better. But unfortunately, Sarkar Raj is surely going to disappoint a lot of viewers who will be going for it with skyhigh expectations. Sarkar Raj scores mainly in the first half. The introduction of news characters, the problems arising-everything was done in good old true Ramu style! In fact, there’s not a single moment in first half which is boring or uninteresting. Even the culmination of the first half was powerful. However, the movie takes a bad turn in the second half. Agreed that the sequences in the second half were shocking but they were completely unacceptable. The climax was powerful too but the impact made by the prequel Sarkar was much more while Sarkar Raj hardly makes any impact. Prashant Pandey’s story was primarily good but he falters in the later part of the story. Ø Dirction : Ram Gopal Verma’s direction was great no doubt but it won’t be wrong to say that he lost a golden chance. Post-Aag, he had suffered severe criticism. With Sarkar Raj, he could have redeemed his lost prestige and respect, but sadly that won’t happen. And the only reason for it is the unacceptable happenings in the second half (I would not like to reveal it). Because of it, the film hardly makes any impact. Kya yaar Ramu!!!......Aapko pata nahi hum log kitni hadh uske deewane hai?..... Ø Cast Performance : Now comes my favorite part….. This movie belongs to One Man Abhisheik Bachchan except the Climax….which was completely swept away by the Gretest Actor born on this planet…I hope you get it…;)…..Performance-wise, each actor leaves a mark. The best among them is without a shred of doubt Abhishek Bachchan! If Sarkar belonged to Amitabh Bachchan and its climax was dominated by Abhishek, here it’s the opposite-this movie belongs to Abhishek and the climax is dominated by Amitabh! Abhishek does exceptionally well in some scenes. Time and again, he has proved that he is one of the best and his performance in Sarkar Raj very well proves it! Amitabh Bachchan’s role can be termed as a ‘supporting role’ since the movie belongs to Abhishek. But though, he does a great job. And as I said he dominated the climax in which he gave a powerful performance! Another notworthy performance from a Legendry actor! Now this I really wanted to skip but I can’t be biuased in the most etioc work I ever do in my life that is my writing….. so here it is. ewwwww Aishwariya Rai is the surprise of the movie! She looks great in formal dresses and she gives a brilliant performance. Watch out for her expressions and performance in the last 25 minutes. Aishwariya Rai has proved her capability by giving mind-blowing performances in the recent past. Her performance in Sarkar Raj is another feather in her cap! Way to go, Ash! Rajesh Shringapure as Sanjay Somji was terrific. He shines, especially in his first two scenes! Though his look is similar to that of Raj Thackeray, it doesn’t seem that comparison will arise between the two because of the nature of Somji’s character. Govind Namdeo as Hassan Qazi was quite funny and did a great job! Sayaji Shinde also did a great job but he gets overshadowed due to the presence of so many characters. Upendra Limaye as Kantilal Vora does a great job, especially in two scenes (his entry scene and the party scene). Victor Banerjee was okay. Dilip Prabhawalkar as Rao Sahab was terrific. It was difficult to identify him and viewers will come to know that he is Dilip Prabhawalkar only by his voice! Tanisha does a great job. She is a talented actress but sadly isn’t getting many roles. Supriya Pathak didn’t have anything to do in the movie. Ravi Kale as Chandar (Sarkar’s right hand man) does a great job like he did in Sarkar. Others were alright…. Ø Music : Bapi-Tutul’s music was good only in one song ‘Jalwa Re Jalwa’. Amar Mohile’s background score was brilliant, especially the ‘Govinda’ track! Again I would say you would many a times come across the scenario where the focus id given on the story and cast performance and other technicals the music is left behind…but Back Ground Musi Rocks….Just here it in Full Volume in 5.1 . Digital Sound…..alas………just mind blowing……… Ø Technicals : Amit Roy’s cinematography was very unusual but helped the movie to give a raw look. In fact, his cinematography was better than in Sarkar. Allan Amin’s action was as usual fantastic! Dialogues were quite sharp. However, the best dialogue in the movie is “Mantralaya mein bandaro ne utpaat machaaya!!”….hahaahhaa that’s damn Funny….Just Like Anthu’S comments!!!...haahhahaha Ohhh Goshhhh. My hands are tired now…..hahaahaha……I am damn sure you must have also skipped something from above….hahhhaha…..don’t worry my part is finished here….Stil the movie is really a must watch for those who likes good cinema……..Reallly Emporere Rulezzzzz UD…. |

Well……….Mere Bap Pahele Aap ( Hereafter MBPA….naam bahut lamba hai yaar …haahaha)…in A tiny Sentece can surely be disrobed as “ WHY MERE BAAP WHY ? ”……..and i am damn sure after reading this review you surely don’t wanna waste your money going into theatres or buying a DVD..you can watch it on T.V. after a month or two…hahahahah.i’m sure the theatres guy would not even run it for more than two weeks…..:D…….why?..read below… Ø Story : I must admit that the basic concept of letting the elderly have a life of their own and caring for them is very sweet. But, somehow the crassness with which it is done, did not gel with me. I still think that humor is a nice way to portray a father-son relationship. But, I just don’t understand why it has to be loud, long and lousy…. I reaspect the Concept but the Treatment just murdered it………. Ø Direction : The name Priyadarshan is synonymous with comic fares. It instantaneously conjures up images of several entertaining films he has attempted over the years. Naturally, you expect his new outing MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP to be a joyride as well. Even the promos of the film, beamed round the clock on TV, give an impression that it's a laugh-riot…But Hey Priyadarshan has totally lost it this time…….( Just see the Loop Holes below…:D)\ Ø Cast Performance : o yeah, Paresh Rawal, like always, tries to bring life to the trying-so-hard-to-make-you-laugh lines with his comic timing. This time is no better or no worse than others. Akshaye Khanna is screaming intolerably at the top of his voice half the time, which is like 75 minutes. And is it only me who thinks his dialogue delivery is going from bad to worse with each movie? He actually had extra pauses where none were warranted at a couple of places. Genelia looks pretty and plays her casual character alright. Whether she’s acting or just the way she is in real life, we’ll know only after she is 3-4 movies old…..And my God Priya Darshan Has just wasted one of the most talented actopr we have in our industry…Mr. Om Puri….so is wasteeed disastrously….is Rajpal Yadav ….PriyaDarshan’s Lucky Mascot…Archana Puran Singh was quite funny in between scenes….Others did a fair job in making you sleep in between….hahahahaha (Just See the loop Holes..) Ø Music : The lyrics and music of the songs are as generic as could be. Also the choreographer had the lead pair finish their gym/aerobic workout on set. And use of bikini-clad women for no particular reason has never been so blatant. So, cutting the songs out could only have helped the movie…Vidyasagar's music is a major disappointment. Barring the title track, which runs on the end credits, the other tracks are strictly Vokay. Ø Technicals : . Piyush Shah's cinematography is excellent and the stunning locales of Kerala act as icing on the cake. Dialogues deserve special mention. Some of the lines are truly well penned. Editing is the weakest link of the enterprise.in a Comic ovie it’s dilgues play a very vital role….But yaar Manisha Korde just made me cry..yaar is se achchiii Comedy to apna Anthu kar leta hai…hahaha..Screenplay was also boring coz Same goes for about another 15-20 minutes of the movie. There are unnecessary pauses and long dialogues which do nothing but elongate the runtime… Ø Loop Holes : Now this is my favorite part…..1.) The opening sequence will put your eternal optimism to rest. What with a bikini clad woman walking on to the shore of a beach. And Om Puri monkeying around in a black and red magician suit-meets-superhero costume is the final signature. Believe me, you cannot imagine how it hurts to use Om Puri and monkeying together in the same sentence….How could you treatSomeone like Om Puri like this?....... 2.) One factor that goes against the film is its length. The concept is truly novel -- for the Hindi screen at least -- but how one wishes Priyan would've controlled its length. Movies of 2 to 2.15 hours duration are fine, but 2.40 hours [add to it the promos of new films, plus interval makes it a 3-hour outing] is strictly no-no in today's times. Priyan should've brought down the length for sure!!!.Yaar Nind aa gayi mujhe toh….hahahaha……….3.) What was the point of having the entire crew go to Kerala when neither did the script need Kerala, nor did they manage to capture her intrinsic beauty….Yaar hum ko kerela nahi Picture dekhni hai….hahaahha…now read this…. Ø Parental Guidence : That is if you decide to see this yourself!!!....:D….:)).. - Violence: Not much, except maybe a couple of slapsticky slaps.
- Sexual content: There are a couple of toilet jokes and a couple songs with bikini-clad women dancing for no good reason.
- Concept: It is a portrayal of a possibly lovable father-son relationship. Nothing wrong with the base idea itself, just the execution is not really enjoyable.
- General Look and Feel: A few songs strewn across a light treatment of the subject.
All in all yaar I wished rather wondered yeh Picture Pryadarshan ne kyun banayi?...........Point Proven…..” Why Mere Baap Why? ” UD… |

Drona New Poster Just look at that Pic of Aby’s Baby……he looks just Spectaculer…..Love you Abhi…..!!! Quantel helps FutureWorks complete first 4K DI in India The forthcoming release in question is Goldie Behl`s Drona, a heavyweight production that stars Abhishek Bachchan and is being produced by Rose Movies and Eros. Featuring 1200 vfx shots, very close to the highest Bollywood has yet attempted, and filmed in Prague, Namibia, Mumbai and Rajasthan, it`s the sort of production that promises to firmly establish India on the global scene and was therefore one that required the best image quality available. David Bush was Visual Effects Producer/Supervisor on the movie. "We had seen some recent Indian blockbusters go the 2K route in 1:2.35 Cinemascope format, and we weren`t happy with the overall soft image that ensues at that resolution," he says. "In fact, centre extraction of a 2K scanned image is really down to the equivalent of less than a thousand lines of resolution, and I personally think that this is inadequate for wide format films on the big screen." Together with Behl and DoP Sameer Arya, the decision was made to post in 4K at FutureWorks, one of Mumbai`s top film post production houses. FutureWorks installed a Quantel Pablo 4K next generation nonlinear grading and film finishing suite integrated with a Genetic Engineering shared workflow infrastructure, together with a Max assist station. As a result, FutureWorks is now in the vanguard of the new wave of high-end digital post production sweeping across India. Bush was impressed with the Pablo system and FutureWorks` facilities, certainly more so than some rival bidders` ?4K` proposals. "M any were underestimating the sheer speed and volume needs for an effective 4K pipeline," he says. "They based their proposals on unproven and theoretical workflows using proxies, down rezzing, still to be tried-and-tested storage area networks, and moving material around from editing to color grading systems backwards and forwards more or less continuously." The FutureWorks 4 K workflow is much cleaner, genuinely 4 K throughout, and features a Sp i r i t 4K datacine and the Pablo 4K, sitting on the Genetic Engineering backbone, with a 4 K ARRILASER film recorder as the final stage in the process. Bush has overseen over 50 DI productions and is adamant that DI is about more than the grading, especially at 4K. "Deliverables have become one of the most important aspects, and these are better catered for on the Quantel platform than by others," he says. Drona is pushing the benchmark ever higher in the fast growing Indian film industry, and I`m proud to be part of the team actively pushing the quality envelope." The Music by ASHU AND DHRUV….. Abhishek jammed with Bauchklang, an Austrian band. It is learnt that the band is popular in Europe and they often perform at local gigs. Bauchklang was in Mumbai in February performing at a lounge bar. A source says, “Bauchklang has worked with Ashu-Dhruv, the music directors for the film on a song and also the background music. The reason why Ashu-Dhruv and Bauchklang have collaborated is that they both have very similar styles of working. Dhruv was quite impressed with their vocals. They don’t use any instruments. They band is all about harmonising their vocals. Abhishek was very impressed when he met the band.” Hey Radz…(Radhika )…..just beware of Abhisheik coz he’s just gonna murder Ranbir……hahhaahah…… Indepandence Day Clash…: Abhisheik Vs. Ranbir…… If things had gone as gone as per the original schedule, box-office delight Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is Kinng’ would have released with Aby’s Baby, Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited SFX extravaganza, ‘Drona’. Thankfully, the makers of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ decided to prepone it by a week and avoided the unnecessary clash. It was then assumed that Goldie Behl’s, ‘Drona’ would be the solo release of August 15. However, it now seems that the best newcomer of the year Ranbir Kapoor’s Yash Raj venture, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ with Deepika, Bipasha and Minissha is all set to release on the 15th August, along with hot 'n' happening Abhishek Bachchan (with Priyanka Chopra) starrer ‘Drona’. The Siddharth Anand (‘Salaam Namastey’ and ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’) directed ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ is likely to be Ranbir’s next release after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Sawaariya’. Before we leave, the formality. Release dates can change even at the eleventh hour! And last but not the least…… Is thisa Priyanka’s Drona Look…..???? Is Priyanka Chopra will be seen in yet another spunky role in Goldie Behl’s movie Drona . Priyanka Chopra plays the role of a female bodyguard to Abhishek Bachchan's Drona. She trained under an expert for Gatka, which is a specialized form of fighting from the Punjab belt of North India. A trainer from Ludhiana had reportedly been roped in to give training to Priyanka. The training included both defensive and attacking moves… Just can’t wait to see this movie..even a trailor would do…… Brought to you by…. UD…. |

Hey you al the Filmy Fanatics………UD’s back. and guess what???/.Back with BANG, BANG, ………..Two Movie Reviews at the same time……Not sooooo Heavenly…(Jannnat).., MINUS 123….(123)…….So sit back and enjoy the most carefully and critically written Reviews…. Jannat……..Hmmm in 3 words I would describe it as “ NOT SOOOOO HEAVENLY” ….why?......well the reasons are as follows…. Story : The simplest formula of making it in Bollywood anytime is combining Cricket with Movies. The Basic idea of the movie was very strong in context of Bookie Problems as none in the industry has shown this much on the celluloid before. But I think they could have shown a bit more than this as the subject is too sensitive as it has made loose us many kore great cricketers in the recent past… So..all in all a good story to start with.. Direction: Kunal Deshmukh’s attempt of Handling already a good story with the actors with almost no knowledge of Acting was very brave and quite successful too. He has not let down Mr. Mahesh Bhatt for sure. Although he failed in making the Debutant Actress Sonal Chauhan act.. Well but it is acceptable considering her Debut movie. Cast Performance : Emraaan Hashmi stole the show with one of his best performances ever till date. Yet he seemed very weak in his dialogue delivery considering the dialogues he was offered. Sonal as I said failed to make an impact. Samir and Vishal played their parts efficiently … Javed also showed some promise. All in all , they all performed okay. Music : For Me the USP of the movie was it’s Magnificent Music. Pritam Rocks….Kamran Ahmed’S legendry song “Judaaai” just makes it amply clear that he truly deserves a place in Bollywood. Pritam reminded of his Melodious Music in Gangster.. “Zara si dil me jagah”.. and “Haan tu hai” were among the other ear cathchers. Beautifully composed and very well picturised songs. Technicals : Screenplay seemed very weak in tendoms. Cinemotagraphy oF Manoj Soni matched the class of international class. Sound Rerecording was a bit immature. Background Score was okay as only one or two tunes were running all the times…other factors were pretty okay. So, the marketing strategy of Mahesh Bhatt to make a movie in a budget wchich falls insufficieant if you sign a star like SRK or AAMIR Khan and make it really cheap for distributers and hence collect enough money to make it average or a hit in this MULTIPLEX culture in India. For me, The Jannat was not So Heavenly… UD… |

One Two Three in towards can be easily described as “MINUS 123”… you wanna know why?.well I would say as follows…… Story : One Two Three has a storyline that could have been developed into a laugh riot. The movie’s plot is pregnant with possibilities of truly humourous situations. But the script-writer and director have not been able to turn the possibilities into reality. Reason? The immature and imbecilic gags fail to rise to the requirement of the comic situations in the movie. Barring a few funny scenes, the jokes in the movie are either outdated or poorly conceived, hence non-functional. Direction : Well, Ashwani Dhir as you know has a great potential coz I love Office Office ….iT’s the most awarded series of all time…..But let me tel you..i’m very much disappointed in the Movie. Coz. Alas, unimaginative and unskilled handling of the subject by director Ashwani Dhir makes it more than an average Dull Comedy. his poor handling of the characters, and his inability to extract performances from his cast. Not that a share of blame does not go to the cast. But we will come to that later. Cast Performance : Well.. the performance of everybody except Paresh Rawal and Tushhar Kapoor and in bits and pieces Esha Deol. Are just pathetic. They falied to make enve tinkle my funny bone. And what the hell was Mayavati Chautala (Neetu) was doing there to copy the F.I.R. fame Character. It was very lamish Mimicry. In the mimcry part Sanjay Mishra, as the don Papa’s henchman, does a nice mimicry of yesteryear actor Jeevan. The only saving grace of the film is Tusshar Kapoor, who manages to rise above the mediocre script and stand on his own. Paresh Rawal is not used to the optimum. Sunil Shetty keeps oscillating between a few select facial expressions. Esha Deol is just about okay. Sameera Reddy adds the oomph quotient. Neetu Chandra hams with no holds barred. Tanishaa and Upen Patel have insubstantial roles. Music: Raghav was just pathetic in other situational Compositions . Just the title song was a bit catchy….other one just another bunch of forgettable songs….sorry but I don’t have anything to write about them….. Screen Play : Well the most pathetic part of the movie was it’s Screen play….. I mean you just kep wondering what’s onna happen now. Coz everything has happened already…J)..well the first scene where Lashmi Narayan One instructs his son about the bsiness strategies. I mean hey what are you doing?????????...Just leave it yaar……….. Other Tchnicals. : Well as I have already told you that nowadays all our movies are technically very sound and this movie in partculer coz of very sound budget didn’t fail us in that regard. The most strking failure in the movie was it’s background score coZ whwneer you see a funny movie you tend to here some particluer sounds in your mind. But it’s not always that you woluld love to here _Pink Pn\anther whenever a Hero imitates Bond or Tom n jerry sound whenever you here some stupid mistake done by a character.so aal in al a fair part played by the crew. Yaaaaar come on you even want me tom give it a star even?..........”J)..well this is it. I think I already given this movie 3 hours 2 and half for tolerating the whole movie and Half an hour for the review. So again. It’s MINUS 123 for me. UD…. |

Once Again UD's Back, this time for a love story... U Me aur hum ..... In one word.."Heart Breaking" Well the full review would justify the One word... as follows... In Breif: U Me Aur Hum ( here in after The Movie) is although the being the usual Love story in which two love birds eventually never meet is defined in such ecstatic manner that you can just feel the goosebums at various moments in the movie like meeting of Ajay and Piya i.e. Kajol, The dedication of Ajay for his love, the help of friends for Ajay, the wishlist:))...etc.... Story : Well, the story is thoughtfully written to include the elements of mordenity with the dash of Traditional Love. After taare Zameen Par, Now a new uncurable disease calld "Alzhimer', huh? our movies have now grown up to become world class for permenent i guess. The story was beautifully written to cover all aspects like the Art( Showing love so beautifully), Science( Researching A hopeless Disease) and Commerce( MIx the earlier both aspects to Include elements of entertainment)... Cast Performence: Well this time Ajay Devgan mesmerised everyone with his Versatile performence as a lover, a professional, a husband and eventually a afther... All in one.. Great performence.. Kajol... what could i say about her.. She's one of my favorite actresses,, nevertheless her character was so strong and vital in the movie, and my goodness did she played it like an all time great or what? she's just Naturally great actress... all the other played their parts quite satisfactory too.. Direction : Hip hip hurrah!!! great work done BY Debutant Ajay Devgan.. It was not so easy for subject like this to direct but he did it with ease jjust like a pro. Hreat start to an alternate career or Retirement Plan?:)) Music : ONly the Title song was appealing. and also the little cameo of Chalte Chalte Yuhin Koi Mil gaya that was thoughtfully inserted... the rest of the songs although situation based and carefully composed, make you wanna leave your seat for getting Popcorn... Dilogues: WEll for me the USP of the movie was it's Dilogues.. my favorite was the tagline of the movie" sometimes the greatest journey of love is the difference between the two people" but after all It's Ajay Devgan, after the Late Raj Kumar And Mr. Bachchhan , It's Ajay who'se movie doesn't go finished without his trademark Dylogues style.. Remember " Humein to apno ne loota... " Most of them are Worth remembering..,, at least it will help one to flaunter a girl some day... :)) Techinicals: Now that Bollywood also developed the habit of making any movie a great technical show.. this movie was not far behindThe set of the care facility for Kajol was a bit exapzraqting i think... Home production was eventually made this a mess Mr. Devgan!! Everything else was quite good.. the Screenplay the Cenematography, The Photography ( a bit glossy), Back ground Score, Sound Re-recording,,,etc.. Well all in all worth watching in a theatre for the exellence of Ajay and Kajol.. Hat's off to you... I liked it personally, so you should too... :)) U D.... It's the Path That i love, not the destination. Ride along... |

Taare Zameen Par.... in one word... "Touching" Well, what one could say about this wonderfully executed work of Realty on Celluloid? Yet, if i had to give a brief review of the movie as a critic, i would attemt it as follows: Story : The subject of the movie,Child Exlpoitation by the Society in several ways, was ,although universally acclaimed, was quite touching in every respect. Screenplay : After story the beatifully played Screenplay was the USP of the movie, I thought. First you see the dark side of the Hero Darsheel makes you hate him as he's shown as the most mischevious boy you would ever come across.... then the story takes a turning point as he's left alone at the boarding school... then the entry of Aamir is history... Cast : At the cost of being quite boringly Obvious, i would say that the hero of the movie was Darsheel Safary. How he emoted every Expressions with his not so cute looks. As always Aamir with his mind blowing performence as the supportnig actor made this movie complete. Not to forget the performence of Tisca Chopra, as she also played her part quite outstanding. Direction: Well Aamir wouldn't have directed such a beatiful creation had Amole not written the touching script of the year.. nevertheless it was an applauding debut from our master actor Mr. Aamir Khan. He did a marvellous job in handling kid especially Darsheel. I've seen such beatiful direction with kid in recent times in Black only. Music & Lyrics : Well, another great thing aboput the movie was theme oriented and situation based excellent music by Shankar Ehsaan And lloy(S.E.L.). S.E.L., wuold't have produced the magical tunes witout the amzingly approorate and beatifully crafted poetry of Prasoon Joshi. Remeber "tujhe sab hai pata hai na maa" or " tu dhup hai, jam ke bikhar" Just excellent... Over All: I would repeat my word earler, just "Touching"... |
