This is true for the movie, for Aditya Chopra and for Kabir Kahn.

The subject of the movie is very contemporary and reflects the scenario of America post 9-11 and Australia 2009.The actors were cast judiciously. The panoramic view of New York is colorful, yet dark and unfriendly. Editing is slick and Music is very graceful, always in background. Yet the gut wrenching feel that should come with such a volatile subject, never arrive.

The movie is about a paradise called New York where on golden leafy campus a red-tint-haired lass introduces herself to a newcomer with pressed shirt tucked in Terry cot pants. The hero is almost a narcissist, all brown and brawny with no dialogues at all for atleast an hour.

The movie proceeds with twists. The first was when FBI poster boy Irfan Kahn declares John as a Terrorist suspect and second when Katrina declares her love for John leaving Neil high and dry but  with very very moist eyes.

That was an end of innocence.

In other time and place but in different world which is too vulnerable post -11 , Neil was sent as a jasoos to stop and report John doing any unlawful activity. The movie travels with twist in every corner. The torture of John as a suspect post 9-11 is inspired from the real life situations of Iraqi detainees. It definitely generates the feeling of despair and helplessness and one wonders where Human Right activists are.

The movie fall flats, I guess due to its lack of sinisterism. The characters are mere caricature except Neil’s. John was the most hallowed one. The first few happy minutes of their friendship is covered in visuals supported by background music. The Chuhalbaazi and banter , which one expects in such scenes were not there. Some scenes were brilliant like the one where John asks Neil to shoot a terrorist.

Khair jaane do, the movie is surely onetimewatchbale.

P. S : Kabir and Aditya are going to do some intro and retrospect , I guess.

Chetan bhagat, who was on the verge of the pocketing another trailblazer title of a IITian-banker-turned-story writer-turned-scriptwriter has finally stumbled upon the up going graph,,,all coz of not so tight direction and also not so divine story...

YEs thats true the story which makes powerful impact while reading in a cozy corner during one afternoon definately turns into a story full of some times slack and sometimes hilarious ( sarcasm intended) episodes .

The story is of a wannabe team leader of the call-centre group Shyam (Sharman Joshi) who has recently broken off with colleague Priyanka (Gul Panag) who is on the verge of marrying an NRI.On the other hand second hero  Varun (Sohail Khan) has a crush on ambitious Esha (Isha Koppikar) who is another wannabewho wants to make it big in the fashion world. Radhika (Amrita Arora) is a battered housewife and Military Uncle (Sharat Saxena) is estranged from his US-settled son. The common point of interest apart from dances in disc is their hatred for their boss Bakshi (Dalip Tahil) who again is in a another trouble as he has got notice to sack overstaffed office.

Then one night they meet with an accident and while dangling for life, they get a call from God, and the call starts rolling the wheels of fortune with enough divine  preaching on ethics, morals, self-confidence, a la " May Samay Hoon " style .

The change starts happening and all ends well.

The characters of the movie are etched as common as next door BPO workers,, i was in delhi and i can identify Esha and Radhika very well ,,the music i liked !! bang bang i love when not distracted by waxed salman's chest.The dialogues are " cheatanish"and the script is week.

Atul needs polishing .. cant match to Abhishek Kapoor and A. Tyrewala

The star i will give is two point something....

Its bad,,ordinary story, lousy script, bad acting ,worst direction , a complete waste of time.

Having said that i would like to point out the same " anjam" faced by AB senior after doing the fantasy movie Ajjoba and Jdugar.ouch it hurts !! but it should, i am amazed at Ab's logic and sense of judgement, Why he had signed this movie , what he was thinking ,, does he really believe a golden costume with intricte threadwork will equte him with Krish....the movie reminds me of the Mummy and Rudraksh due to  its some sleek sequence.Some sequence are so random ,so bore and so out of place that u want to throw a chappal on screen.

Goldie Behl  last directed Abhishek Bachchan in the box-office flop Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai .In this movie  Abhishek Bachchan portrays the title superhero role with Priyanka Chopra as his bodyguard. Kay Kay Menon is Riz Raizada, the main villian. The movie is about an orphan Aditya who like Harmen Baweja of Love 2050 iis unloved. A blue petal makes him smile. One day, the blue petal leads him to a beautiful Kada which he starts wearing around his wrist. The Evil Riz Raizada  is a descendant of the Asuras (Demons) who wants to lay his hand on Amrit to achieve eternity. Drona is the safekeeper of that Amrit. ( reminds me of Da vinci code )

Soon Riz recognises AB as Drona. Aditya is saved by Drona’s bodyguard i e oomphy Priyanka .The fight now is between the good and the evil. 

So this is the boring review of a bogus movie . Kay Kay is the clown with such a weird caricature,, its crime to waste such a talent. AB looks Paunchy and his Toond is visible .Priyanka is OK. Jaya bachan is the new nirupa roy,, all tears no acting.The music is passable , The SFx are good but dont go to see just that. ABs hair cut is another lousy thing.

Avoid this movie like a money seeking creditor,, dont even see this in cable

Goldie tu to gaya ...................

Benegal did a RGV Ki Aag here..He made a bland Oat khichdi.

Oat coz it was nutricious for the brain but was dull, borig and unexciting to the sensibilities.This is a movie which really made we want to shout OOOOOOOOOOOhhhh noooo whenever song sequence came.

A cross between Nadia ke Paar and other Kasba wali movies, this movie failed in so many aspects, It was neither funny ( except last scence of illa Arun), nor wholly satirical. Nor village ki neither shahar ki.It lost in between where female characters are illiterate and makes pot or fetch water but during the dream sequence dons Capris and Leather jackets.

Benegal tried to raise some social issues like Bal vivaah, widow marriage,unfair practices in election and democracy. He even tried to copy the story of Shabnam Masi , an ex MLA of Katni whho was "Kinnar".

Shreyas was wasted and so do other powerful actors.Illa is Damn good.

Avoid this one ,, be a durjan and give it a miss.

I went to this movie only for Shiney Ahuja's killer killer smile and alas that was the only thing which was not there.

The movie is from the genre of Action- thriller,, its 80s revisited in a more sophisticated manner what with our hero , an engineer grounded coz of his own past dragons of mistake and deeds, takes entire hijackers single handedly.The fight he fights with hijjackers is actually his efforts to slain his own demons of past.

Dont look for logic please ! It will remind you of "Die Hards" and" Air Force One ", " Turbulance ". But you will eventually praise the ambitious effort of the indian director to try this extraordinary hollywoodish stuff.

Shiney is good ,, he always put lot of labour to execute the demand of the role. Esha as an Air hostess with guts is perfect.

The plot is shaky ,, the terrorist and their intentions are not so well defined , they lack conviction. The movie slides always towards shabbiness, the climax lacks the explosion of sighs and relief from the hijjacked passangers... c'mon they should have shown more gratitude.

All and all okayish movie.. kuch kaam nahi hai to watch it.

This movie was hyped very much in my part of the world,, what with special screening almost 1 week before for theCM Modi and his gang,, Why Modi ?

Khair,, the movie is no doubt belongs to the thinking genre with Black & White , Mumbai Meri Jaan , Aamir as its precursor. The movie is excruciatingly well written and well executed  ( by the standard of Bollywod flick )

Its a story of a wednesday when an unknown tech-savy and extremely intelligent man threatens to bomb the city.The chase to nab him down begins, It involves Anupam Kher as Top Cop and Jimmy Shergill.But the man is always ahead and before the climax it anti climaxed but not before driving the point home, To elaborate it further will sure spoil the movie experience.

Shah is the King. Kher delivers and so do all other charaters .The movie reminded me of Sly stallone's " The Specialist " in its sauviness of shah as a bomber and other terrorist hollywood flicks....but it does not beliitle this effort surely.

Its a movie must watch at the time when India is threatened not only by the externel enemies but also the inner one. More and more ppl are either turning into fanatics or indifferent.

So guys check it out,, its a serious cinema but with enough on-your-seat-edge-thrills.

Please ,, i cant believe that some Bollywood ppl. can be so dumb ,, a movie with a name Chamku and a dead story which is equally unchamku cant survive in the age where every friday, we the audience are getting as different dishes as Shourya, Rock On , Jab We Met and so on.

Yep,, Its all about dreams honey,, Hold fast to dreams. For if dreams die. Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly.....The movie is stupendous in its effort, story, treatment, casting , sets and cinematography. The music is foot tapping.

While watching this movie audience went through the whole pleothera of emotions ,, love , sadness, happiness,loss, despair and disillusionment all are portryed with great subtelity.

The movie is about lead vocalist turned very stylish investment banker Farhaan and his group Magik consisting of goateed ( i am not sure wheather it should be called as plaited one )KD -the Drummer ,Rob the Keyboard magician and Joe with wonder fingers on guiter -a failed and disdained musician.

Its about their rise , the euphoria , their fall and the compromise they make in the Real World to survive and to live. But but .................sakshi wife of the now-barking-banker reunites them together to forget past and bitterness and together they Rock On.. again

The acting of Farhaan and Purab and Luke and Arjun Rampaal is rocking man

The Love 2050 is an ambitious project of Baweja and Baweja,,they spent money and the Honey ( Priyanka Chopra) in a very irresponsible way, Both , Alas, got wasted.

The story is pathetic, Hero in search of his love travel to future .And LO and Behold , Luvey is there with a very horrendous strawberry -red wig, pink teddy-robot and equally outrageous pouts.

Harmen knows how to dance. End of the story

Boman ,, tame soo thai gayoo,, after Honeymoon Travels why this kind of Chichora baazi,

Songs r ok, script  goes Haywire in between, The Special effects r superb but but but r quite out of place.

The movie is radical in 2 ways , first due to SFX and second due to on -ur-face-product promotion,,

Batao batao!!

This is the movie with many folds,,Ajay Devgan as a Director has passed with colours as bright as the sets.The essentially is of love, with love and in love. The vows" till death do us apart' is taken very seriously here and actually is the theme of the movie.

First Dyslexia and then Alzeihmer..we sure are becoming aware,educated and sympathetic audience. But the biggest difference with TZP with story of an abnormal kid and this movie with a character with a hopeless disease is that,,here character is a mere caricature except Ajay Devgan's.

The movie clearly can be divided into two elements . Colourful and white,Dream and then nightmare.The first half with Dazzling cruise liner, Deep blue water and wild blue yonder is a picture perfect setting for a romance-during -vacation..And it happens ..with Ajay wooing Piya i.e Kajol .The generous, passionate and croocked ajay win her and later they  get married.

The second half is actually devoid of this almost festive spirit .The Dark cloud in the form of the dreadful disease loom large on the married life and detiorating condition of Piya makes Ajay abandon her in the Hospital.

The film ends with a happy yet hopeless note and make us think about the relationships and love or bond tying it.

The progress of Ajay's character from generous devil-may-care to self condeming and broken-spirited husband is well defined. Kajol characterisation is very weak .the direction is good and the use of inconsistent flashbacks is interesting.

The scence where KAjol leaves her kid in a bathtub is brilliant.. it leaves audience gasping and on the edge.Ajay plays almost a love-guru in the movie with giving discourse on love and its methods.Music by vishal bhardwaj is ok with meat of the songs rendered by Adnan sami.Photography is glossy .

watch it if u like lilsluggish type of movie .

I went to this movie inspite of almost nil promotion and thus invisibility and after watching it in trance ,, i am thinking wheather the movie was really there or it was all Bharm of my fertile mind... ( the hole of 500 bucks in my pocket denies that)

The movie , though not similar reminds me strongly of Judie Foster's Flight Plan ,, where she says her daughter is missing bbut all including the audience take it as the bhram of her mind,,So such is the movie

The movie comprises of cast of hip-hop-model-turned-actors-struggling-to-get-foothold of Milind-Python-Soman and Dino-ex bips-Morea and two other glam-gals.

Two bhaiyya and one bhabhi and than comes a girl,, who is hallucinating( ?>???),, illusioned ( ??????????) and traumatised coz of a incidence happened in her childhood.

The maze of thrill, secrecy, mystry and suspense make this a one time watch movie. The first half is sluggish and 2nd racey..

Music by Pritam is ok but not so powerful as LIT metro....

The movie has come at the time which is remarkable on many front. The bollywood is turning to meaningful and issue-based cinema once again ( after 70's). And the Human right ,secularism and democracy are becoming the buzzword. 

The story or the treatment has been taken from a famous Hollywood flick but  now it seems the issue of war-crime and atrocities coupled with bloated egos of top brass are prevalent everywhere.

The movie starts with a shooting of an officer by another officer and takes the viewers to the easy life of Maj. Siddhant Kapoor played effortlessly by gutsy Rahul Bose and Major A kapoor played sensibly by often insensible Javed Jaffery.Both the legal eagles of Indian Army.

The case was 'open and shut case' but deep down runs the torrid stream of hunger for Shourya, adulation, communalism and  dirty power. The top brass played by Kay kay menon is almost a drug addict , high on Single Malt and Seva medals.

The story is not new but we have been reading the incidents like this now almost regularly. The Brig. Ketchup case or other such cases are now really exposing the disciplined armed forces whose USP has been Bravery and Integrity.

Are we creating a monster in the form of Armed service should be the Q ringing on ur mind.

The movie is good if u like intense and compelling kind of cinema. Minissha Lamba looks gorgeous and plays her part as a journo from small place well.Cinematography catching beautiful valley of J & K is enchanting. Music by Adnan sami is apropriate.

The dialogues are excellent and are as sharp as barbed wire especially those lines by Kay kay. " Pig sweats and men perspire" and so on ..........

Black and White, Two oposites or two polarity.The movie is this and more. An intense experience with songs just right and well placed and charaters as real as you can get. The Delhi is the latest darling of movie directors now a days RDB , Sarfarosh and others hhave exploited the charm of saddi dilli and now this movie with a constant backdrop of Lal Quilla capture the essensce of this old city.

This is a Ghai's movie after a long time and it seems the ghi is at par with the new gen. of directors namely Om rakesh mehra,and others .KmSubash Ghai is a patriot of a sort which was obvious after  Pardes but this movie bares him all . He is a good storyteller .A real Showman.

The pacey and tight story of a Fidayen and his faith leaves moviegoer as vulnerable and emotional as the protogonist himself. The hero of the movie Anurag sinha is intense and broodingly dashing.He will go places . A new avatar of Ajay Devgan maybe( ?).

The story is of Chandni Chowk and uski galian breeding boys who helps Jehad in one way or other. The Muslims who when customer is hindu, says without a hitch 'Jai Mata Di'. The instances like this shake the belief of the protogonist and not the heart turn but the introspection makes him change his.................( Go and watch the movie)

The story is loosely based on the story of Afzal Guru, a JNU professor guilty of harboring terrorists and now in the death row.

Go and watch it. Screen play is well written, editing is good , cinematography is good ,emotions are tightly balanced . Aur kya chaiye................

OOOH LA LA,, the movie is here and i chased it like a crazy female across the ahmedabad as no multiplex is showing it ( some yudh between the Distributors and Multiplex owners for the moolah..)

So at last here i am sitting dazzled and lil bit glazed from the experience named Jodha Akbar.

                                              Review

The name should be Actually Akbar and Akbar coz i find this character better written and dynamic then the Jodha's. The Akbar or Jalal played Theek theek by Hritvik Roshan is really a round character which evolves with the film but Ash as the jodha inspite of Haute Coutre Jewellery and colourful, gota tucked duppatas lacks the fire .Her boldness is shown , when she demands protection of religious sentiments and bas this is it.

The Palace saga is all encompassing intrigue,dissonance, mutiny,nefariousness, deception, romance, thrill, great action and shadiyantras.. The sets r dazzling and leaves audiences during the initial intoduction mouth gaped and eyes popped,, the Aish also leaves the same impact ( i heard a fan calling Aish as Apsara ).The film starts with a great, well executed fighting scence to establish then 13 yr. old Jalal as the Ruler of India . Then the movie progressess with the winding path of plot and sub- plots.

The movie i dare say , is rather long ( almost 3.45 min. ) and still leave much to long and wont for. The Cinematography is out of this world and editing lil slack,, but scriptwriter is the person ashutosh should send to Mecca as its really loose at someplace.

Some scences gives the impression of director lingering on them and thus not cutting it at the right time , like the sword fighting scene of Jodha & Akbar  .

I will be commiting great paap if i dont mention and appreciate acting of Sonu Sood as Suja Mal and Dheer as Sharifuddin..The songs 'Jashne- Bahara" is a true love song, the background music is horrendus .

                                                EPILOGUE

The movie deserves one watch..Dont try to get your history right by this movie PER Se Geography just try to enjoy the Chemistry. The look of total rapture and wonder on the face of roshan when he sees Jodha first time leaves true lovers dry-mouthed, i am sure.And haan when Aish speaks, try to look at the jewellary or anything else or you will be disillusioned .

P.s : Was that the wobbly chin or the Double chin ( of Aish ...)

Let me warn you, this movie is not for the faint-hearted. It is melting plot of Comedy, Thriller and tragedy...

The movie is laced with black humour.A sad comedy . The oxymoron is as true as the movie.

Mithya means ' False, pretention, Make-believe', and indeed movie is that and a lot more...

Ranvir Shreorey as VK is Hamlet spewing struggling actor who finds himself in a bizzare condition with weired characters i.e vinay Pathak as Ram who has been given a shorter role here, and his accomplice Shyam played by Brijendra Kala.Saurabh Shukla and Naseeruddin ( Gawde) Shah as Gangster are loggerhead with Raje Bhaisaheb ( Ranvir in his Double role..oooooooooooooops i gave it away). Harsh Chhaya ( Bhanu) with somewhat Sonny Corleoneish type character of The Godfather is the brother of the Don .

Ranvir finds himself playing the character in the real life and then the real life in the character..Its indeed is a usual movie with a very unusual twist and plot.

Neha Dhupia as Sonam plays the love interest of the Ranvir. She looks llike a Dons Moll..Iravati Harshe as revati is good and perfect to the story.

This movie reflects Rajat sharma and his method.. Bheja Fry was really a teaser for this movie. I tell you there is a method in his madness. The small touches of real life by the episodes of Ranvir claiming extra allowances or his streetsmartness all refllect the Sharmas sharp observations. 

 The movie i again claim is an unusal movie with a heart..It will leave you chortled, startled,amazed and gloomy..

First thing first,lemme say, this movie should be ideally viewed on the cable and not in a multiplex.. as the paisavasool quotient is not there.

"Grass is always green on the other side" and then 'All that glitter is not Gold" these are the cliche' on which the story is based. Husband is disillusioned by the wife and wife is not satisfied with the husbands' love. The three couples Asish and Amrita, Rajpal and Neha and Anupam and Rati tries to potray the dilemma couples face after marriage.

The story is simple and comedy  okayish. The drama or is it melodrama is almost at the level of farce .The music despite Adnan sami and Alisha Chinais crooning is not soul-stirring but very average. Rajpal yadav is the hero and he is not the USP of the movie i am afraid .Rajpal , i find , sometimes go over the top.Neha amazed me........the array of movies she is doing starting from Julie ,to Ek chalis... and now this leaves me bewildered about her intentions .Rati is glamarous as always and kher is right on his cue.

If you have a terribly free weekend than go and watch nahi to wait for the satellite world premiere.....

The movie is about a missing sunday from Saher's( Ayesha Takia)  life,, Rajveer ( Ajay Devgan ) a dishonest yet sharp , icecream licking cop then helps Saher to recount and retell the story of that sunday.. The movie has got its share of romance( which is little bit less  ), Fighting,stunts, Songs and last but not at all the least comedy..

Irfaan Khan is the name which i always associates with entertainment, he has proved here again that he is a great entertainer , warsi as usal is a 'shaana' character and than there are others who played pivotal role to the story,,the hitman, tongue twister is the only thakela character in the movie.

Its a one watch movie definately,, Ayesha is shimmering in the movie.

It is a movie with a warmth that envelopes you, the sprinkling of humour is even and leaves the audience with a smile all through the movie.

The kuknoors' blue-eye-boy shreyas talpade is natural and completely ease with the character. The surprise gift is JAMK aka JAmaal Khan, son of tha Don whose money shreyas pick and run to bangkok with a team of doctors. The Jam is then dispatched to Bangkok to rrtrieve the money. The movie than is not-so-fast-paced in the chase of shreyas pursuing the Thai girl and and the rest of the money hidden in a box .And Jam pursuing shreyas and getting involve with a Doctor.

Guys ,, watch the movie for the subtle and vibrant humour .. Jam is toooooooooooooo good. The dress, the jewellery, the overall persona of a rap singer cum  gangster is brilliant.

The movie could have done well with a tight plot and an editing, but phir bhi ,it is a kuknoors film and a trade mark of his films are that they are same same as the other movies but are differnt.

P.s : The movie is for the classes, i guess, and will not appeal to the masses

P.s : A sort  of social issue ( that of flesh trade in thailand)has been raised .

 I expected a hero clenching and unclenhing fist with bloodshot eyes and shouting dialogues as powerful as " Yeh terah kilo ka haath jab......and shoutas like " ... Chadddha............. the movie as powerful and violent as Ghayal and Damini,,but it was a dissappointment ,

the hero when was furious , urinates on the persian rug of the minister. period. a Santoshis' movie is expected of seething rage, harsh language ,fury and pounding blood.. but it lacks all,Devgan all the time was almost brooding remains silent .the movie gives a feel of Deja-vu,, the scence sometimes reminds you of other mob-fury scences.

The story is of a successful action hero , Sameer Khan( Ajay Devgan), who with others witness the murder of a girl. He choose to remain silent since the murderers was very highly placed ( reminds me of Jessica lall).The sister of the girls provoke devgan to register the complain and when he did that it was Hero against the system, The plot also have a sub plot which is integrated seamlessly ,that of Pankaj Kapoor , as a retired ( is there a term like that) and transformed Dacoit. He performs street plays and thus Halla Bol.Devgan fights and than media and public  fights for the Insaaf.It was Halla Bol.

The preamble of the movie to establish devgan as a successful Hero is till interval, Initially movie goes in the direction of Page3 , by cynic potrayal of movie industry.

Vidya balans performance is below ok as her characterisation is very poor. Her dialogue delivery reminds me of Meena Kumari.

Pankaj Kapoor is out of this world ,, he is enigmatic and dynamic.

The movie is loosely based on the live of great nukkad drama founder Safdar hashmi.. guys i had seen him and his nukkad natak, to watch their drama is really an intense and powerful experience ,, but alas this movie lacks that charisma

The background score is very impressive and adds little aag to the scences

P.S: i know devgan loves scotch on the rocks.. but why to show all the time in the movie ( was it to give a macho image??)

Just saw the movie and felt like writing,, i know it dot need a review but tell me ,, bolo kya bade sharon mein aisa hota hai? we all small towners r missing all the fun?? huby bhi chalo, wifey bhi aur onke onke bhi...

Too many temptations i guess.But indeed it is a great mature cinema not meant for faint hearted.. tha points to ponder r thrown in between the movie by the characters mouth which i guess is to instigate the not-so-happily-married-couple watching the movie..

The sound track is awesome.

The movie was released almost a decade ago but while watching it today it generated the same feelings, at times tiny twinkling of humour , at times little warmth by the four pair of romance going onscreen,and most of the time was smothered by too much of sugariness and tedious plot.

The plot is looooooosely borrowed from Ramayana, out of three sons , step son becomes the kurbaani ka murgaa... much later everything get sorted out and the big fat traditional indian family sings and sighs 'Hum saath saath......"

The movie is a constant carnival .Of parade of actors from barjatiyas' regulars like aloke naath to mohnish behl, sallu, saif ali khan , tabbu, neelam, karishma, lemme see who i forgot,,, umm yes sonali bendre and more...., the songs, the pujas, the parties, life is but a dream and this movie is a dream within a dream...

P.S: This is the movie whose dull story ( I guess) prompted sallu wont of action and hence he so famously ( or is it un-) shot black buck ( i forgot 'allegedly ')

When Sai paranjape direct a movie,, the viewer gets best of everything. Good story, tight editing,meningful songs and bold performances. She has proved herself again and again as a director with properly placed sensibilities

The movie has drawn its inspiraton with the two great sibling-singers mangeshkars. Shabana as younger one and Aruna irani as the elder sister potrays two struggling and than established singers .The rollarcoaster ride of the relationship they share with eachother is too true, too natural and too humane.The jealousy, the hidden anger, the feeling of being cheated all leaves viewers deeply empathising with the characters.

The Dashing "Wah " Hussain as the love interest of Shabanas' character leaves more to be desired.

The movie is good despite predictable story..a must watch for sai fans, shabana fans and hussains' fans

When walt whitman said" I celebrate myself and sing myself " he never thought 100 years after the great diva of bollywood follow the same sentiment with the help of jaideep saini.

The movie is a reinvogirating effort of Mad to flaunt her skill as a dancer period.The story line is very passable and charaters are usual gang of opposites, to appeal to class and mass.

I am really having some scrothing hot questions for Mad,, the why, what, how are killing me, an ardent fan of this talented dancer. Who is her stylist, for god sake. Such unglamorus clothes except that lehnga, Dirty brown colour hairs........and  lousy story.What happened to saini?Was madhuri so desparate? She could have waited for movie like black or provoked or something like that....

I am hyperventilating..the dances are good and makes movie entertaing.Champagne is without bubbles . Exotic and expensive but not so appealing.

If they were trying to emphsise on some kind of women empowerment by depicting rani as doing what sons cant do ,that is flesh trade and trade flesh for living; they failed miserably.

The movie smells of moth balls. It is really like an exorbitantly priced, beautiful but old and unwearable banarsi saree among the clouds of chiffons and whispers of georgette. The plot is ancient and very predictable. The treatment is a good effort on part of director and cinematographer.The cast was a dream cast yet it was not exploited properly . Jaya is an avatar of nirupa roy and anupam kher is A K hangal next gen. The moth balled parents who push daughter to become ravishing call girl. Heroes r not heroes in true sense but merely there for its sake.....

Rani as usual is brilliant cant comment about abhishek. Kunal tried to prove himself in this star studded film.

Watch this movie only for Konkana , she is delightfully wonderful.Emote well and doesnt look out of place in the movie which was really meant for rani.Pradeep sarkars movie is a delight to eyes but cant say about logic department.

I know i am writing this pretty late but guys anytime you watch this movie its worth watching it.Am i talking in circles? coz the plot itself moves in this hilarious and eventful circle.

As abhay muses in the climax 'Dhai ghante mein life badal gayi' throws the light on the crux of the movie.It do have shadows of 'Waisa bhi hota hai 'and 'Is raat ki subah nahi'.The plot is about the one night in mumbai and protogonists'encounter with police and mafia alike.

The movie could have been better with little more tight editing and screenplay.Neha Dhupia as a bindaas prostitute was very average in performance, Abhay is good and so was the rest of the cast.

See this for its thrilling story which keeps audience anxious and on the edge. some scences arrrrrrrrrrrrre hilarious.

If you have a taste of Prakash Jha movies and u like 'hip hip hurray' and and other movies of this sort ,this is a movie for u.

Superficially it revolves around politics and sex ( a lethal combo) but deep down it is really about the clashes of two world ;one is old and the other still in nascent stage thus rootless and aimless.Shreyas talpade reminds you of every-small- town- college- student-  leader ( believe me i have seen enough) who are idealistic and great attraction to sophisticated girls because of their rough and rogue ways!!

Imaad ,(i cant really understand the charater) represent the new gen which thinks everything revolves around sex. Smriti mishra after long time is back as a uncouth prostitute.

The movie grows on you ,,and with objective perspective potrays gen-next as newly-evolved hippies of 70s.

Watch this movie if you are from the backwaters and it will definately make you miss your college days!!!
