Kurbaan is a great Romance,Thriller movie by Rensil D'Silva Avantika Ahuja(Kareena Kapoor) who lives in the US returns to Delhi after her father has a cardiac arrest. While in Delhi she meets Ehsaan(Saif Ali Khan), a Delhi University Professor. [3] They get married and move to the USA. Avantika finds out from the neighbors that Ehsaan is a terrorist. After disclosing the same to Ehsaan she realizes that she is a pawn in Ehsaan?s game. He turns out to have married her to legitimately obtain Social Security Cards and a new identity in the USA. Avantika is kept under house arrest after she comes to know about the true identity of Ehsaan and tries to run away. Sooner Avantika also finds out that Ehsaan plans to bomb several metro stations in New York. She tries to foil the plan with the help of Riyaaz played by Vivek Oberoi and is successful to some extent. When Ehsaan finds out that Avantika is also carrying bombs, he has a change of heart and doesn't kill Riyaaz when he comes to know that he betrayed him. Riyazz tries to save the people at the train stations .Ehsann sacrifices himself at the end .
