(Vasudevan) and (Vetrivel) are twin bothers but are separated in childhood. They grow up in Chennai and Dindigul respectively. While one becomes a detective in Chennai the other is a rustic young man from Dindigul.The city bred Vasu is suave and smart. He charms Asin and they fall in love. Vel is involved in fights with Kalabhavan Mani. Asin comes to know that Vasu has a twin brother and that he is living in Dindigul. Vasu goes in search of his brother Vel. And like in many films, the two brothers swap their roles to confuse the villain and eliminate him. And the film then ends on a happy note with the family reuniting in the climax.
