Shyamlal (Sudhir Pandey) is a greedy man who commits the fatal sin of killing the child of a mystic snake (Kalpana Iyer). The snake, which can assume human form at will, swears revenge and bites Shyamlal�s little son. The boy is left for dead, but a good Samaritan Kalpanath (Ajit Vachchani), revives him and adopts him, re-naming him Shiva. Shiva (Aamir Khan) becomes a snake charmer, without knowing about his past.He falls in love with Paro (Juhi Chawla), but her orthodox parents oppose the match as Paro is a child-widow and is thus fated to lead a life of celibacy. She is also attracted to him. But Paro's dad, Choudhry Charanjit Singh hires men to subdue and kill
Shiva.
To make the situation worse the vengeful snake comes to know that the child she had assumed to be dead is still alive .Now since its not possible to kill Shiva because of his snake charming powers she decides to kill his lady love that is Paro.
What happens next ? Can Shiva save his Lady love from the vengeful snake?
