first things first, this movie makes my start of 2008 :-)... overall very much enjoyable and mast timepass... the story is reasonably connected although has elements of (enjoyable) skits... awesome performance by arshad, that guy is one man army... give him good script and crisp dialogues and he can steal the show... very well complimented by irfan khan, with his typical ishtyle of dialogue delivery they make a terrific pair... ajay devgan has done pretty good and so has his assistant... ayesha has done decent job...  overall movie is comic thriller, very good comedy, decent thrill as the pieces connect but a bit okayish end... songs and music is okay... dialogues are crisp, fresh and funny...

the story is abt ayesha who works as a dubbing artist and one fine weekend her sunday goes missing... she does not remember what she did... ajay is a acp and starts investigating the case... as the pieces connect its fun... with laugh riot by arshad and irrfan coming on and off... the thrill factor is also okayish but take the movie more as comedy with some thrill...

if you like skittish comedies, this one is for u...

In bollywood there is trend of makin movies reamking of old movies, like sholay, deewar, don ,etc. Sunday is not remake i wanna say, but it is base on some stories like "Teesari Manzil" and it aslo inspiration of tamil film "ANUKOKUNDA OKA ROJU " was in 2005.

 I will tell you to go and watch movie, bec it is a popcorn movie where a balace of suspense of comedy is very nicely maintained. Rohit shetty have been shown before us in Zameen and Golmaal, so his nice director, as we know...But this movie will not earn so much on box office bec jodha akbar and other big movies are coming so , go to watch and have enjoyable sunday......

Bollywood is slowly shrugging off its run-of-the-mills movies and coming up with bright and new ideas , Johnny Gaddar with its chase like chase and others have given moviegoers treat again and again.This is the movie with a good blend of comedy and thrill.

The movie is about a missing sunday from Saher's( Ayesha Takia)  life,, Rajveer ( Ajay Devgan ) a dishonest yet sharp , icecream licking cop then helps Saher to recount and retell the story of that sunday.. The movie has got its share of romance( which is little bit less  ), Fighting,stunts, Songs and last but not at all the least comedy..

Irfaan Khan is the name which i always associates with entertainment, he has proved here again that he is a great entertainer , warsi as usal is a 'shaana' character and than there are others who played pivotal role to the story,,the hitman, tongue twister is the only thakela character in the movie.

Its a one watch movie definately,, Ayesha is shimmering in the movie.

P.S 1: Watch this movie for the scence where Irfaan talks with dog and then dog chases him.

P.S 2: The oneliners like Irfaan telling the dog " Dharmendra paaji tera khoon peejate " are brilliant.

SUNDAY IS A STEP FURTHER AS PER TERMS OF DIRECTOR ROHIT SHETTY.

HE HANDLED THIS FILM PERFECTLY,ITS ENJOYBLE AND WORTH A WATCH.

MUSIC IS SUPERB EXCEPT ONE SONG, OVER ALL MUSIC IS GOOD.

ACTING WISE AJAY DEVGAN IS PERFECT.

ARSHAD WARSI IS SUPERB HIS TIMING IS SO COOL.

HMMMMMMMMM BUT THE MAIN USP OF THE FILM IS IRRFAN KHAN AND AYESHA TAKIA.

SORRY I CAN'T REVEAL THE SUSPENSE AS IT WILL KILL THE IMPACT.

AND SPECIAL MENTION SCENIC LOCALES OF DELHI IS AUWSOME.

OVER ALL DONT MISS SUNDAY, I HAVE NOT REVEALED THE WHOLE STORY AS ITS WORTH TO WATCH BY YOURSELF.
