The story begins with the bubbly girl Sasirekha (Genelia) who is brought urgently from Hyderabad to her home town Amalapuram and when she reaches there, she realizes that there is a marriage arrangement going on and much to her horror she realizes that it is her wedding that will be done with an NRI. She is unable to protest since her father (Ahuti) is a strict man. Sasi decides to go ahead with a plan and escapes in her bridal get up out of the house. As fate would have it, she chances upon a young man who names himself as Anand (Tarun). Twist of events occurs and Anand and Sasi end up being with each other. Anand helps Sasi escape from Rajahmundry to Vijayawada and from there on is in the mode to help her go to Hyderabad. In this process, the journey follows a roller coaster ride getting them more close to each other. Anand falls in love with Sasi but there is a truth that he does not reveal to her.
