The story is about two pairs of lovers. Abhiram and Deepthi are in deep love. Abhiram goes to the US for three months on office work. Chandu and Bidnu are the other lover couple. Bindu also goes to the US for three months on a company assignment.
The lovers feel the pain of living without seeing one another for three months and start counting days. By a strange coincidence, Abhiram is headed for the same place as Bindu and they also happen to work for the same company in the US. They become friends and their friendship slowly turns into liking and now they are not sure if they are in love. After Back home Deepthi and Chandu meet each other and they become good friends. They become such good friends that they both reveal to each other about their love story and how they are waiting for their lovers to return.
In the US Abhiram and Bindu fall for each other but are confused as they are already in love. They do not reveal to one another about their love story. They both head back home after three months but are not sure what to do next. A confused Abhi approaches Jagapathi Babu who is flying back home after a film shooting and asks him to help him out of this tricky situation.
Jagapathi advises Abhi to use his heart and not his head in taking a final decision. He writes his own advice on a paper and asks Abhi to read it only after he has taken a decision. The rest of the story is what decision Abhi and Bindu take and whether it is the same as the advice given by Jagapathi Babu.
