Scene to scene copy of hollywood movie 'Honey"

Seeing everyone's nice reviews.....i thought why not see this "feel good" movie...but when i was coming outta of theatre i felt like cheated. Why an indian movie can't be original...don't we have creative story writer.....there should be a limit for imitating a movie man Yell.......not a single scene is original....and as far as dancing is concern .......you all should go watch 'Honey' starring Jessica Alba.....even dance moves are copied in a very B grade style....I mean if you are copying something you can still use your head atleast and give it a fresh feel.....what is the point in going by scene to scene.

For me this movie is just a medium for a father "Arvind K. Patel" producing a movie for her daughter "Gayatri patel" for her some love for dancing.

And what's the role of this damn story writer "Mr. Mauzzam Beg"....what he has done....just been watching "Honey" so that he can copy it well...what a waste man...go back to your school again and learn the art of story writing again.

For the "So called creative director Mr. Aarif Sheikh"...i've just one word....man for god sake stop directing from now on.

I also wanted to ask from Malaika arora khan who is all praise for Gayatri's dance moves....have you ever praised our indian classical dancers who are not so publicied....no na..then what's the point praising some NRI who gave you money to do so.

Last but not the least for our much leaned "Critics"...who have problems with most of our bollywood movies...."Sir atleast give a little appreciation to directors who make decent original movies" and not some crap imitation.

Thanks everyone for patient reading....i felt less cheated Smile now.

Decent dancing marred by a cliche script

A spirited attempt loaded with the clichés that ultimately led to its demise, Let’s Dance is the oft-told story of a young dancer striving to make it big. Sadly it doesn’t even have the saving grace of being the first of its kind in Bollywood, and its blatant resemblance to every other dance movie just leaves one yearning for something different.

The story follows Suhani (Gayatri Patel), a young dancer who lives in a flat in Mumbai with her TV anchor friend (Sugandha Garg) . She runs a dance school but yearns to make it big in the world of Bollywood but the clean way, no casting couches for our lead actress.  Also in her life is Neil (Ajay Choudhary), a restaurant owner who believes in her.

One late night she discovers some slum kids dancing and is so impressed by them that she invites them over to her dance school to train with her. Tragedy strikes and she is on the verge of losing her dance school which also means that the slum kids will have to go back to peddling drugs to keep themselves occupied! The rest of the movie is a clichéd repetition of how she saves her dance school and helps the slum kids.

Gayatri’s performance is spirited and one can see that she is putting a sincere effort. But somewhere it doesn’t match up. The dancing is good fun and we see some . The romance between her and Ajay is half-baked and devoid of chemistry, largely due to Ajay’s ineptitude.

Cinematography and Direction are the usual, just above average. On the whole, average fair, watch if you’re a dancing buff.
