Absolutely pathetic waste of life span

From time to time one watches a film that leads you to sit up proud of the Leap that Bollywood has made from the stale 1980's dancing around the tree cliched cinema.
Directors like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Karan Johar, Anurag Basu and Aditya Chopra have injected a great sense of pride into Bollywood cinema by producing very sensible and fantastical cinema.
Unfortunately this film goes to show there are still some serious turkeys out there to bring down the industry and convulute it with exceptionally stupid cheesy and mind numbing films which generate a huge sense of euphoria then burst the bubble upon first viewing. Unfortunately Akshay Kumar seems to play a prominent role in such completely diabolical movies.
This rates as perhaps one of the worst overhyped and wasted opportunities in the history of Bollywood. Be serious. Do you think Stallone, Richards or Routh will sit, watch this film and be impressed? Of course not! They'll sit back and think what a load of drivvle but thanks for the paycheque!
Slumdog millionaire this film is not.
I will stop my rant here. I cannot beleive that the likes of Taran Adursh present such positive reviews for films like this which are clearly a load of stupid plotless loads of turd. No matter how many special appearances are introduced you simply CANNOT polish a turd. This film is nothing short of a turd.
Akshay should sit back and reflect. Kareena should consider wearing some clothes and this film should flop so badly that it teaches producers and directors that films like this are unacceptable. Unfortunately, given the hype this film has had an all time great opening. I'm quite certain people will however leave the screens feeling robbed.
Avoid like a plague. Pathetic cinema.

I wonder these Bollywood filmmakers have guts to waste so much of money and resources in churning out such a trash. I think they live in fool's paradise. Take big stars, make something senseless, promote it like mad and collect first three days collections which is due to advance bookings. Throw a lavish party to celebrate the success of the film. By the time audience find that they have been fooled the cool money is in the pocket of the producers. Dear audiences wake up! Go for sensible cinema rather than senseless cinema. KI has no storyline worth mentioning, devoid of logic. Entertainment does not mean cheap gimmicks. Were directors like Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Bimal Roy lesser entertainers. However they never thought that audiences are the fools and need to be treated like fools. their films had entertainment value with a social cause or sometimes pure entertainment with healthy humor and logic.

Dear All,
This movie is a straight lift off from Kamal Haasan's movie Pammal K Samantham in Tamil,which was scripted by the actor himself.I was appalled when Sabbir Khan was claiming the script to be his.But the producer of the tamil version has agreed that he had sold the rights to Sajid. Why is Bollywood so shrewd in giving the due credit to others.To say the least the film was far better in its original version.I think the time has come we have to keep guessing who is the real script writer for a movie until a controversy is broken out, since you cant find the credits on the screen .There is dearth both in creativity and integrity in Bollywood .

I would first like to apologize to all for the kind of strong views that are going to follow these words. I have zero tolerance for any thing that lowers the bar for what is been certified a decent U/A family hindi feature film! Ok, hold your guns, let me introduce you to my victim of the day: 'KAMBKAT ISHQ' thats right, another no-brainer Akshay Kumar flick.
Now the film starts with the usual Akshay masala-action stunt, with an intro to his character in the film..A stunt man (yeh..something new from Akshay!,right??)
Anyway, now the writer from hell, wants to give a personality to Akshay's character and decides that the character 'HATES COMMITMENT'..treats all women like pillow covers and humiliates them with a verbal vomit of slapstick phrases and miserable, lowest quality words. But not to forget, is yet surrounded by a flock of bimbos waiting to take a bite of him! But falls pray and finds true Love in the new bollywood Paris Hilton..guess whoo?? Bebo.
On the other hand miss sexy heterosexual feminist Kapoor, is no less and has gone outright to use her limited vocabulary to scream her 'Men are dogs' mantra.
Typical bollywood flick! TYPICAL BOLLYWOOD sorry, I repeated that because I want to stress on the word 'typical'
If this is typical! what is happening to us?
One should have seen the joy and excitement on the faces of the audience...mostly teenagers, college bunkers, faffers etc in the theater, as they parrot the developing India's new bodacious LINGO.
Raoudigiri, barbarism, hooliganism or continue the list for me pls etc have become the new propaganda tactics of our film industry.
On one hand movies like Hazaron Kwaishen Aise make us proud about the improving quality of Indian movies, why is there a disparity?
I am not against mindless, entertaining films, but I am against what some of them profess! hooliganism and nothing else!
So Iam making an offer to you, you can't refuse. May be its more than what you want to know, but Im never going to slip into those hackneyed faddish, bodacious expressions that afflict our precious Indian language.

The story is not very good, the jokes are a bit over the top.....but i have seen worse......the cast performence was good (what else can u expect from Kareena and Akshay?? after all its not there fault the story is horrible.....the soundtrack was the best thing about the film, though the work Kambakkht Ishq was repeated a milllion times....
In my opinion its a waste of time & money....don't go to watch it unless you are a huge fan of Akshay and Kareena.......because otherwise you will be dissappionted...

some anti- akshay peoples are making bad comments..dont believe on the ,,they have to accept that Akii rocks...... 100% paisa wassol....

I think Akshay Kumar is in over confidence!Its a Diaster!nothing to see!just pathetic jokes,panchat comedy!he didnt learn from CCTC!public is bored with him now!wastage of Hollywood actors!I think he should quit comedy & do some sensible ropes!If ur going plz dont go!if ur friendz r going stop them!Its DIASTER!!
