Nihal Singh (Jacky Bhagnani) from Chandigarh is a seemingly simple yet unconventional boy. He talks too much, questions everything and builds complicated gadgets in his spare time. He has a brilliant mind and an oddball sort of charm. He adores his mother, has dreams of studying in the most elite institute of science and always looks for big ideas in small things.

When he is accepted into his dream college in Bombay city, he is over the moon. College is a whole new world, full of color, new people and new challenges to be met. Initially nobody takes him seriously. He is ragged by his seniors, insulted by the girl he likes and so on.

Nihal, however, slowly wins them over. The girl Nihal likes is Meesha (Vaishali Desai), the spoilt brat of the college. She is proud, rude and rolling in money. And she cannot accept that Nihaal is managing to charm everyone, including Professor Verma, the warden of the college. Professor Verma is fascinated by Nihal’s unique mind and agrees to become his mentor.

Suddenly Nihal’s world is rudely interrupted. Nihal gets visions of Meesha being in danger. He saves her life and his secret is revealed. The media and TV channels are all buzzing with only one news; ‘‘Nihal Singh from Chandigarh can see the future’’. Meesha softens towards him and love blooms.

But how long will the peace last? What Nihal doesn’t know is that someone is trying to use his gift against him. In his innocence he is manipulated and his visions become a tool. Will betrayal be his fate...or will Nihal’s brilliant mind recognize the traitor before he destroys everything that Nihal loves? Kal Kissne Dekha?

"Kal kissne dekha" shares and holds a very great cast, the hardwork is being shown by each and every cast member...Kal Kissne Dekha actually plots on Jacky bhagnani (Nihal) and the performance by him was superb, the actress is very attractive and beautiful as well, I must say that she can challenge Kareena too....I think This movie is exellent if you watch it with your lover or with the one you are most close...Because the funny and lovable parts of this movie are superb...the songs are very very cool...Every track has its own good points....The performance by Rishi Kapoor as villian is also good! This movie is comedy, romantic , suspense and action  So watch it, Its a very good movie!

The sincere effort by Jackie becomes victim of a confused writing. (Review by Bobby Sing)

Good times are here again as our movie world is back on track with its usual glamour and drama. And what a long gap it was missing the exciting Fridays, parting with our favorite theater ambience and waiting for the lights to go off as usual. So, it was nice to be in my cinema seat again but sadly was not feeling the same moving out of the hall.

Kal Kisne Dekha, is the first movie to be released after the patch up between the producers and cinema owners. It is considered to be a major venture, since it is the launching pad of Vashu Bhagnani’ son, Jackie Bhagnani. The boy looks fresh and has impressive acting and dancing abilities to his merit. But unfortunately he becomes a victim of a below-the-mark execution of a weak and repetitive script. The film is based on a future gazing plot, also seen in some recent releases, like “Aa Dekhen Zara” & “8 X 10 Tasveer”. And like these two, Kal Kisne Dekha, also goes along the same path where the direction fails to execute & materialize the interesting plot on-screen.

The movie starts off in a village in Punjab with all the characters speaking dialogues, in a deliberate mix of Punjabi & Hindi. This very scene brings down the excitement level as using Punjab as its background in movies has now reached a saturation point. We have seen the same sequences and dialogues between a Punjabi mother and his son several times before. Maybe it’s time Bollywood directors start thinking beyond Punjab.

From Punjab, the story moves on to Mumbai where, Nihaal (Jackie) joins College and also meets his lady love, Meesha (Vaishali Desai). Here we again are served with repetitive scenes of riffs between seniors and freshers, small fights between the lead couple, and then love emerging from both sides, as a requisite. As Nihaal and Meessha fall in love, we are also introduced to Rishi Kapoor, a Physics Professor in the College who, in reality, is the technical brain behind a dangerous Terrorist Group.

However, the main plot of the movie, revealed much later, is Jackie’s power of predicting the future. He is gifted with a vision to predict future events and is able save many lives. Strangely, this plot, which should have been given the main emphasis, is used in a very light and unimpressive manner by the director. There is no excitement in knowing that the hero can predict the future. Nor there are any thrilling sequences which make you jump to the corner of your seat.

In fact, you feel sorry for Jackie, who tries hard to bring the viewer into the movie but gets ditched by the screenplay in a big way.  Particularly, the scene where Jackie discloses his precious gift of a vision in front of his college friends, Police & Media is filmed in a very childish manner. For example, on knowing about his futuristic vision, one of the reporters asks, “How do you see those visions, in black & white or in colour?” Quite funny! The climax sequence of Jackie, predicting the hidden bombs planted in different places is also directed in a very simple style, which fails to generate any curiosity in the viewer.

Director Vivek Sharma, did a good job in “Bhoothnath”, where he came out with some good emotional scenes along with a pleasant comedic touch. But in “Kal Kisne Dekha” he seems to be confused between the themes of love and suspense. The script tries to incorporate all the famous Bollywood ingredients into it, which spoils the final product.

Performance wise, Jackie Bhagnani, definitely shows promise and has got talent to be looked out for in future. Unluckily, he didn’t get ample support from his director and writer in his debut movie, even when it was his own home production. His personality also bears a slight resemblance to Uday Chopra, which should be worked on in his future ventures. Vaishali, as his love interest, acts well with confidence, but looks more like a glamorous model in many sequences. They look good together on-screen, especially in the song sequences shot brilliantly.

Interestingly there is a long list of reputed artists, wasted in the movie, doing unimportant things at regular intervals. Rishi Kapoor plays a negative character as an insane scientist but comes out as rather unnatural. Ritesh Deshmukh is there trying to make you laugh but fails to do so in an undefined role. Sanjay Dutt can be seen dancing as a DJ in a song, but you may not spot him, if not watched carefully. Juhi Chawla, gives a surprising cameo as a Stage Anchor in the Shopping Mall, who simply vanishes when a Bomb is reported under the stage.

Rahul Dev as the main terrorist, Satish Shah as Meesha’ father, Farida Jalal as Meesha’s caretaker & Archana Puran Singh as Jackie’s mother, have nothing much to do in their under-written roles. Archana’s character of a Punjabi mother, coming to the city for his son, also reminds me of the character of Sunny Deol’s mother in “Jo Bole So Nihaal”. Interestingly Jackie’s name “Nihaal” is also the same as Sunny Deol’s in the above mentioned flick.

Sajid-Wajid's music in the movie could only reach the average mark with no particular song as a front runner. And as usual the songs are placed at places where they were not required. Though there are some great locations canned beautifully by the cinematographer, but the locations keep jumping from local to foreign ones with no continuity as such.

Summing up, “Kal Kisne Dekha” is a victim of confused writing trying to incorporate both a love story and a thriller into the same project. It has only Jackie Bhagnani sincerely trying his best to do the right things but everyone else doesn’t seem to be interested.

Kal Kissne Dekha directed by Vivek Sharma (of Bhootnath fame) is yet another movie where the director has completely undermined the need for credibility in story. Bollywood seems to be going through a very bad phase in terms of the quality of its movies. It has been made by producer Vashu Bhagnani just to launch his son Jackky Bhagnani and not in the interest of its viewers.

Kal kissne Dekha? Answer- Nihal Singh(Jackky Bhagnani) from Chandigarh. Nihal is a typical Punjabi boy- talkative, inquisitive, full of ideas, extremely pleasant and loves his mother. He is gifted in many ways and one of his talents is to build scientific gadgets in his spare time. His life is changed when he secures admission in his dream college in Bombay. Away from his hometown, college is a new experience for him and he finds it hard to make friends or even be noticed. He finds a mentor in professor Verma(Rishi Kapoor), the warden of the college who is amazed by Nihal’s intelligence. He loses his heart to the most popular girl in college Meesha(Vaishali Desai) who only insults him till one day, his highly guarded gift comes to his rescue.

Nihal has a vision from the future about Meesha being in danger and he saves her. News about it spreads far and wide and Nihal becomes the much talked about boy who can see the future. His action also makes Meesha fall in love with him and everything seems hunky dory for just a little while, till Nihal’s gift becomes his curse. Someone is trying to use Nihal’s gift to manipulate him and everything Nihal loves is in jeopardy. To know if Nihal’s visions save him or if someone close to him manages to betray him, watch Kal kissne Dekha.

The movie is not one of Vashu Bhagnani’s best. The performance by the newcomers Jackky and Vaishali could have been better. Rishi Kapoor is the best part of the movie. The movie also has Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Dutt making special appearances. The movie is a bore in the first half and gets interesting only in the second half when we are trying to figure out the fate of Nihal. It makes a good timepass movie.

SRK FANS LOVES AKSHAY KUMAR

Akshay Kumar, India’s A-List Bollywood actor continues to be in a unique league of his own bridging the gap between Indian cinema and its western counterpart Hollywood.

In his position as global ambassador for Indian cinema, Akshay will play the male lead in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq, Co-Produced by Sunil A. Lulla - Executive Director and President, India for Eros International and Directed by Sabbir Khan. Kambakkht Ishq signifies the first ever Indian film to feature both Indian stars and major Hollywood talent on one cinematic canvas. Akshay Kumar is joined by other Indian top-ranking artists Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Aftab Shivdasani with special guest appearances by Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards.

Much of the dialogue thus far on Hollywood amalgamating with Indian cinema has been ‘behind the scenes’ however Kambakkht Ishq, celebrates the ‘on screen’ synergy between the artists themselves. Setting a whole new benchmark in the arena of international cinema, Kambakkht Ishq is also the first ever Indian film to be shot at Hollywood’s Universal Studios, LA.

Kambakkht Ishq is not the first time Akshay has taken Indian cinema global. Last year, his home production, Singh is Kinng, re-wrote Indian film history as breaking the biggest Box Office opening across US, UK, Middle East and India at that time. The film featured a unique collaboration between Akshay and hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg, for the title track and music video for the film. Akshay has also collaborated with international singing superstar, Kylie Minogue, who has recorded several music tracks for his 2009 underwater thriller, “Blue”, and also has a pivotal role in the film. Kylie recorded her scenes, as well as the music video for the title track, with Akshay in Mumbai in March 2009. The music has been composed by double Oscar winner A.R. Rahman (of Slumdog Millionaire fame
