What a crap movie... Chances are that it would have worked had it been released a good 15 years back from now.
What I find in the direction, situations and performance is a mixed of tabooed cliches that really upsets the bollywood buff in me.
I feel sorry for Vashu Bhagnani to have drained a fortune only to realise that its not gonna work. If at all he was looking for a launch vehicle for Jacky he should have borrowed an idea or two from Aamir Khan. Non-filmi movies are the order for todays educated lot.
The way story moves forward seems such a bore. The same old boy - girl college cat fight, then the lady being outsmarted by the lad blah blah blah.. We have seen this concoction umpteen times now give us a break.
I dont understand why every hero is trying a Hrithik whammy, trying to showcase dancing abilities, Hrithik did it, now you go ahead and try some other funda. Give us a fresh lease to view the protagonist. I congratulate Imran Khan on this to have the guts to feature himself on song which dictates "Pappu cant dance" yet can do something required - ACTING...
Gosh I hate filmi movies and I can critique endlessly on this. The review is my take to remove some frustration.
By the way my gang decided to clap heavily once the movie ended and boy we were applauded for our sarcasm...
That says it all...
