Amazing, amazing and amazing........words are short to express the quality of the movie.

The plot couldn't have been better, the dialogues were just fabulous, and the music breathtaking. Shahid proved his acting abilities 1st time in my view and the same i would say for kareena. The outdoors and the sets were smartly choosen. One may argue about the fact that the story was predictable but even then you cant get off your seat untill you are finished with the movie.

It's a simple story.  But it was greatly portraited. The story goes like this... Geet(Kareena) is afun loving girl.... she is very much in love with Anshuman. Thus, she suddenly leaves her house to go to him and to get married to him. While going to meet him, Geet misses her trains many times.... in this mess, she meets Aditya(Shahid).... Then... hmmm... Then arrey... watch the film to know what happens next.

According to me it's a full time entertainment... After watching this movie... u will not regret your money at all. I've watched this movie a lots of time. It's too good.

Performance wise... Shahid Kapoor has acted very naturally, there was no artificiality in his acting, he fitted the role perfectly. And Kareena Kapoor acted very naturally, there was no artificiality in her acting, she fitted the role greatly.

Music was given by Pritam Chakraborty. The music was great. Every and each song was beautiful.

Overall... It's worth watching as many times as u wish...hahah

FANTASTIC MOVIE.

I had gone to watch movie whichever it may be in theater and didnt expected much from it ( as I saw jab we met there), but as it kept flowing I was getting more and more excited, the movie was exceptionally good. The way kareena has played her role is really admirable, you just cant expect such a awasome peformance from any other actress. Even though I watch this movie everyday, I cant get satisfied. After this movie, KK is my favourite and only actress. 

Jab we met ws d 1st romantic movie of Shahid n kareena.i ws waitin for ths movie a lot as i ws expectin sooooooo much.It' full of fun n romance,,,,D chemistry b/w Shahid n Kareena is amazing!!!!!!!!this ws d 1ly movie tht i saw 67 tyms...after ishq vishk{98 tyms}....I liked d accent in ths movie....it's juz SUPERB.......

This is one of the movies which is a prime example of how offscreen life of the stars can give it just the right impetus to a movie which is well scripted and has got some material

Lets accept it guys it would never have got the opening it got had the story of Shahid and Kareena split had not made rounds. But i will give credit to the director because he was not depending on the couples offscreen happenings but worked on how to get the best out of two very capable but underused actors in bollywood and thats where the movie surprises us.

Shahid Kapur starts off really well with his controlled act in the first half where he slowly opens up to a girl Geet( Kareena plays herself in the first half). It is that thing which makes you feel that" i wish they could be together but they cannot" throughout the first half which keeps the audience interested. The second half starts on just the right note with the role reversal.

Shahid now plays the effervescent Aditya and then his search for Geet ends at shimla where he finds her at the same place where he was a couple of months ago (nothing new or out of the box but hey have a look at the histronics). He tries and tries and when their romance was just about to flounder when Anshuman walks in again.

Shahid showcases his talent perfectly and so does Kareena. I must add here the on screen kiss has been shown in a very mature manner.I dont think i ever felt that the kiss was the most demanded by the script before this and yes that was the perfect end to a very welll directed fairy tale.

A word for the director Imtiaz Ali, I love the way he makes his movies his first movie Socha na tha didnot get the popularity it deserved but he is a ver honest worker and this time its worked magic

This is the kind of movie which Bollywood is famous for...... a little rumours but a good love story backed by great music......way to go

the film is really good and interesting it keeps u entertained every second of the film.
