jaane tu ya jaane na carried a lot of expectations and i must say that the movie has matched all the expectations of the audience. Debutant imran khan and genelia impress the viewers with their very natural acting talents. the director of this movie has to be given all the credits for this. The movie starts off with the song "tera mujhse hai pehle" sung by the friends and the story of jay (imran) and aditi (genelia) is narrated to mala. jai and aditi are the closest friends in their gang. both cannot be seen without each other! they never think that they are in love with each other. when aditi's parents talk to jay and aditi about marriage, they both refuse to accept. then aditi decides to find a suitable girl for jay and jay decides to find a boy for aditi. Meghna comes into jay's life. after meghna's entry into jay's life, aditi gets less attention from jay. she feels a little ignored and gets angry with imran a couple of times. later, sushant comes into aditi's life. Till that time, jay did not feel anything much about aditi but after getting to know that aditi is getting engaged,jay starts feeling his love for aditi. the later part of the story deals with how jay confesses his love for aditi and how both unite after overcoming a few obstacles. Both genelia and imran are brilliant and fit their respective characters beautifully! the other friends bring smile to our face often. the story is very simple but it is executed very well and makes us admire everything about the movie! this particular movie is a big releif to our eyes after all the action packed movies that released over the last few months! watch jaane tu ya jaane na for imran and genelia. both of them have a long way to go in bollywood!!!
