“
Ek Niranjan” is surely one of those ventures that follow the tried and tested formula of movie making. The movie has hardly anything new to offer [in matters of content]. That however, does not prove to be the saving grace of the movie. The usually animated expressions that reflects on the countenance of the talented actress, are amiss here and she just walks through with a lack luster performance.
Even then, the movie somehow manages to up the entertainment quotient that it is meant to deliver, all credits to the lead actor of the film- Prabhas! He proves once again just how much he has grown in terms of his acting skills. Prabhas ushers in a breath of freshness in the otherwise mundane story of “Ek Niranjan“.
“Ek Niranjan” is clearly divided in to two halves. The first that focuses on the lighter aspects like the introduction of the lead pairs as well as all the other characters of the movie, to the audience. The second half of the movie follows a different note all together. It portrays action and oodles of violence.
Puri Jagannath has done a commendable job as a director. Known for his stylish ventures, he chose not to let down his target audience in terms of expectations. In previous cases too, the Puri- Prabhas combo has proved to be quite a hit and this time, from all the positive airs surrounding it, it is easy to say that the film would score well with the audience. Certainly Kangana Ranaut will be an added attraction for “Ek Niranjan“. She does good in some parts and she is really pretty
