De Taali

it was aaaaaa bakwasssss movie...... i just hated it...... it was just waste of money.. no storyline at all......  i am a great fan of Ritesh but i was disappointed by this movie......

ATTENTION!!all u corner seat seekers...ur assured of tis seat wen watching a movie like this.....i mean theatre khali milega na yaar...

M finding hard to find a subject for review,bt still lemme try ...hmmmmm

First things first,lemme start vid good things...

1)the dialogue "na to he heee,try karke dekh lete hein,shayad haan ho jaaye"(ritesh looks cool)

2)few scenes like ritesh watching bandar on animal planet vid rimi n wen he gets hit on d spot,which no guy wants to be hit..

  dats it guys....infact its my mental attitude of positive thinking dat i cud list two...

   Par ye kya yaar,movie ke khatm ho jaane par bhi mujhe laga maine sirf part 1 dekha...there wasnt ny end.....infact m thinkin how cud dey stretch it for 2 hrs....

  Anupam kher has been wasted.....and the classic way of ayesha takia sayin "SHUT UP" abhi.....

   In short the movie was like a tubelight which is tryin hard to gt started...n to our disappointmnt dies only after the dreadful 2 hrs...

 Guys i hv already wasted my lifes precious 2 n half hrs on this..n don wanna waste any more time reviewing it(social service ki bhi limit hoti he yaar)...

Really no claps for De taali.E.Niwas really fails this time.You will be in the hall with many expectations.But when film begins with a loud and trying to be catchy cool song to show how close the three friends of the story are...the music fails to make you give some "taali"....then the film starts with three verrrrrrry close friends Amu,Paglu and Abhi....then suddenly you find Abhi is in love with his 31st girlfriend Sara(Neha Dhupia)who is a tantrik and has a connection with Spirits and all that things and then suddenly she leaves Abhi...then Abhi falls in love with Karthika(Rimi Sen)..in the mean time you will disover Paglu(Ritiesh Deshmukh) loves Amu(Ayesha Takia)...while it is also comes to be known that Amu loves Abhi(Aftab Shivdasani)...while Karthika loves Abhi's Property and money................fewwwwwwwwww.....

well that was a confusing story....in this hotchpotch there is Anupam Kher(Abhi's Father) with his Doggy..who is unnecessary addition of this filmy gafla.Through out the whole movie you will just try to find out whats going on...and suddenly you will feel thank god atlast THE END........

Really,nothing special about the movie.Ritiesh can act......but no scope for him....because the plot is bad.Aftab is bad actor in this movie.Ayesha couldn't find out where to act...but she looks cool....Rimi has good expressions but that is of no work with this wafer thin plot.

Comedy doesn't click.....Drama is not there...Music is in short BAD....So why will you go for it???Well,thats completely your decision...but the film is just DISSAPPOITING!!!

I was extremely disappointed with "Mere baap Pehle aap" just tolerated to see Shobhana's and Paresh's perfomance. So i was desperately lookin for a decent movie and "De Taali" was actually a bit releaving. Ritesh really does well to pull some audience to the rheatres, and i think this is only watchable one released recently.

 Good performances and a few punchy dialogues alone don’t make an interesting rom-com if the plot and direction is lackluster. After all, it takes two to clap.

‘De Taali’ is not an out-and-out comedy. It is a breezy, bouncy, bumbling romantic movie about three friends and a scheming siren.

The

movie begins with a song (how else - but really stay away from songs! YAK!)

Paglu (a rightly cast Ritesh Deshmukh ), Abhi (an endearing Aftab Shivdasani ) and Amu (a curvy Ayesha Takia ) are a bunch of slaphappy friends who banter about everything from love, life and sex to marriage. Abhi is a sort of a despo, falling in ‘love’ with any and every girl (be her a kleptomaniac or a witch) who is attractive and then nursing a broken heart after she walks out on him.

In this jamboree of three friends, love sprouts in Amu’s heart. It is love for Abhi. But she doesn’t realize it until Paglu makes her see it.

Before Amu can express her love, a drop-dead-gorgeous Kartika ( Rimi Sen ) enters and sweeps Abhi off his feet. But Kartika is a gold-digger and a smooth operator at that. She has one eye firmly focused on Abhi’s wealth.

As Paglu and Amu try to spoil Kartika’s plans, the movie goes into expected drama – kidnapping, a bunch of rejected lovers, and a twist in the tale.

‘De Taali’ has fine performances from the leading cast, who, at moments, even rise above the mediocre script to hold a viewer’s interest. But director E Niwas disappoints. He seems more fixated on making the movie look visually appealing without ensuring a tight, coherent script in the first place.

The plot inexplicably keeps meandering into ambiguous zones for no rhyme or reason. The twists at the interval and at the end seem contrived to suit the writer’s convenience.

The humour in the film is generic, with a slightly risqué flavour to boot. The songs are okay. In supporting roles Anupam Kher and Pawan Malhotra are made to look like caricatures.

All in all, a ho-hum film with funny moments few and far between.

I think the movie would run fairly until Thoda Pyar...Thoda Magic hits screens.

De Taali starts off well, but gets congested towards the end. It is a light comedy and has fabulous performance by the cute n beautiful Ayesha Takia. But the movie is so clean that is seems suited for kids under 12...ha ha

 The Maari Teetri item song is the only time in which the male characters look grown up.
