Now, Daddy Cool music and song is the most famous currently. The first song of the movie Daddy Cool is rocking everywhere now. Read full: Daddy Cool music review

"There are total 7 songs in the movie. Daddy Cool movie releases on 28th August, 2009 as a comedy movie. There is good comedy in the movie. So, songs and music are also much enjoying.

“Daddy Cool” is the first song of the movie which is sung by Raghav Sachar. Music of the song begins with instrument which is very slow. The song comes in voice as “Daddy… Daddy… Ha… Ankhiyon Me Jadoo Teri… Ada hai Palak Pe…” The song has great put-up of music. Daddy Cool music will give you a feeling of classical music, traditional music, western influence and instrumental music. There is sweet voice of flute music also. It is perfect song to show the meaning of “Daddy Cool” a fun movie. Many times “Daddy Cool” with “Jhankar” music appears in the sequence of the song.

“Nasha Nasha” is the second song of Daddy Cool music which sung by Neha Bhaseen. The song is mix-up of English and Hindi words. There is slow-paced music in the song but “Jhankar” is very rhythmic. It is a romantic song to express love. Music is blowing in the song. You will surly enjoy the song due to its music which is based on rhythmic tune.

“Life Life” is another song of Daddy Cool music which is sung by Farhad. The song begins with mind blowing music. We can say the song is based on music only. “Life Life…” words in the song appears many times. It is a general song which has no meaning rather than its music. It is also influenced with western music. From the Daddy Cool music, “Life Life” song is another most successful song of the movie. Music of song and “Life Life” voice echoes very effective which make its popular.

Next song of Daddy Cool music is “Nasha Nasha (Remix)” which is also sung by Neha Bhaseen. There are no big differences between remix and original song. You can feel only fast music in the remix. However, I like its original song rather than remix.

There is another remix of Daddy Cool music – “Daddy Cool (Remix)” which is also sung by Raghav Sachar. There is same thing in the music of remix like “Nasha Nasha (Remix)”. Different types of music come in the remix but all the instruments have been used of original music in the remix. There is Punjabi Bhangra music also in the remix. You can feel more fast music rather than original music.

“Dekho Dekho Dil Ye Bole” is the next song of Daddy Cool music which is sung by Shaan. The song is also begins with a vocal music. There are also remix of voices and music in the song. “Dekho Dekho Dil Ye Bole” has also influence of western music and Indian blowing music. The song is full with English and Hindi words. It is just like a rap music which is sung in a pub. It is just like club music.

“Miss India Martee Mujhpe” is the last song of Daddy Cool music which is sung by Amit Kumar. The song begins with a slow-paced music on the rap sound. Starting music is just like “Ure Jab Jab Zulfe Teri” music. It is a dreamy song of Daddy Cool. It is a situational music of the movie. It is really a meaningful song of the movie but music is not much effective in the song..."

Daddy Cool: Join the Fun eral

It’s official now. These lads and lasses who acted in the film can’t make you laugh. They have been trying different things on screen and failed miserably, except for, may be Rajpal Yadav, Chunkey Pandey or Javed Jaffrey. Alas! Even they struggle to make you laugh here. The idea behind ‘Daddy Cool’ was great – the remake of critically acclaimed British comedy film ‘Death at a Funeral’ but something went wrong. It could be that repetitive comedy is not funny, rather boring.  More so, if those trying to remake a comedy are not talented enough.

Those who have watched ‘Death at a Funeral’ know the line-up… 'Daddy Cool' is the plot for plot copy. Steven Lazarus (Sunil Shetty) arranges a funeral at his plush villa in Goa on his father Douglas’ (Sharat Saxena) death. But Steven’s decent, quiet funeral plan collapses with guests’ flooding in one by one. Some paisa vasool respites are when Rampal Yadav manages to create humour with the gay lover twist to the story.  A chaotic funeral with psychosomatic friends and relatives follows the rest of the story.

Actresses in the film, be it Aarti Chhabria, Tulip Joshi, Kim Sharma or sexy Sophie Choudhury none of them seems to have taken even a class in acting. Ashish Choudhury tries to survive on his last fame ‘Dhamaal’.  The other three reputed funny men, Rajpal, Chunkey and Javed’s effort went wasted considering the rest of the cast.

The music is a big disappointment – its both the remix tracks are sad to say the least. Young music composer Raghav Sanchar who had earlier given music to films like ‘Kabul Express’ and ‘Sunday’ didn’t deliver anything extraordinary. Director K Murali Mohan Rao seems to be well-versed only with romantic flicks, his comedy bit didn’t work!

This Daddy is so un cool that we have almost rephrased its tagline ‘Don’t join the fun-Surreal’. It’s like they say remakes are best on mute, this one is best left unwatched.

Was it a Comedy?

Another movie holding the controversial tag of Plagiarism hits the theater this Friday. Highly inspired from “Death At A Funeral” released in 2007, this star ensemble flick is a very poor adaptation of the Original. Publicized as an enjoyable comedy, the movie falls flat as it neither has any good comic moments nor any enjoyable performances to cheer you up.

Based on a time span of few hours, it starts with the song “Daddy Cool” and then straight away enters the house where a funeral has been arranged. From there on the whole movie revolves around various characters visiting the premises to attend the funeral. Each character has his own short story angle, which is supposed to be funny but fails to deliver. The variety of sub-plots used in the narration, have nothing to offer in the name of comedy or entertainment. In fact, at times the forced humor goes overboard to the limits of being called weird and is not able to generate a healthy laughter (like in the bathroom sequence with Javed Jaffery and Prem Chopra).

There is nothing great about any particular half of the movie as it keeps on moving at a similar pace throughout. And the biggest disappointment comes watching it’s hushed up climax where suddenly everyone undergoes a heart transformation without any reason. The entire star-cast tries hard to make you laugh, but their efforts prove futile as they are not equipped with a good hilarious script. Among the male lead, Suniel Shetty, Javed Jaffery and Aftab try their best to make you smile but from the ladies it’s only Sophie who stands out with her stunning looks.

However, in an otherwise uninteresting attempt by the director K. Murli Mohan Rao, there is one intelligent move of not inserting any songs in the project. The songs are only used in the opening and ending titles of the movie which comes as a great relief for the viewer. The other technical departments also score just average and its really great that the movie finishes off in only 2 hours or else it would have been intolerable completely. Moreover, the funeral concept of everyone coming to mourn, dressed in their black suits has a very limited appeal for the Indian viewers.

In all, “Daddy Cool” is a very weak adaptation by the director and also a wrong choice of subject for a Hindi movie. With international production houses ready to initiate action on this plagiarism issue, its better we come up with some original ideas or take due permission from their makers before copying. Interestingly I also have my doubts on the climax being changed on a later stage in order to differentiate the movie from its original one. So, watch it at your own risk.

Rating : .5 / 5
