Ok,this was the best movie where we can see shahrukh as a better actor,not a monotonous freak who believes himself as superstar.. This is a type of movie which should be encouraged by viewers,got a good story and movie keeps u involved for its full length.It is not typical useless bollywood masala movie, shahrukh has prooved tht he is better actor and he has more colors thn just doing clg guy type of charactors,girls in this movie were unknowns faces except for few well knwn models, i will give it 4.4 out of 5.u can see this movie once in a year everyear.

This is an excellent movie for all ages and complete entertainment with extraodinary acting and it's a great offering to the Bollywood industry. This movie is about Kabir Khan(Shah Rukh), who was dropped from his Hockey team as a Team Captain just because he shook hands with the Pakistani team, so people thought he was a traitor. After seven years, he coached the National Women's hockey team. He was a strict coach, but he knew how all about Hockey and teams. The team didn't really like him, because he was so strict, and the team didn't know how to cooperate with each other. When the team send a resignation form to Kabir, he took them to a restaurant before they went away. At the restaurant, some people boys harassed some of the girls, so they started a fight. All the girls on the team helped each other, and they finally learned to cooperate. Kabir brought his his team all the way to the world cup.
This movie is full of emotion during the time when they were facing against other countries, and this film is excellent, and I am sure you will enjoy it!

ya i agree that a team cannot win every match esp if its their first time... but it was the spirit of the movie that was good... the kuch kariye song was awe - inspiring... in totality the movie was really good... thank god it was not on cricket!!!!!!!!!!

I went to watch the first day 2nd show because i am an SRK fan.but i didn't have high expectations from the film,i had thought it would be a boring documentary.But boy was i proved wrong.I cried,i laughed,i shouted and at the end came out of the cinema inspired.wow what an amazing film.It sent out so many important messages on women power,on national integration,and on teamwork but did not sound preachy or boring!!wish more movies like this will be made.

Excellent Movie. SRK is a real GENIUS when it comes to acting. this movie was a pleasure to watch. I actually saw it 3 times and plan on watching more of it. Before seeing it, you might think, yeah deja vu, w/ girl's team fighting to be recognized by...(read more) the world, but it's much more than that. It's about people being judgemental, and unshamefully hypocrite. When someone does something good to serve them, if he or she makes a mistake societies reject him/her completely before finding out whether or not he actually sold them out. I love this movie. My favorite moments:
1. THE FIGHT! I love how the girls, fought like girls, and still kicked MAJOR guys' ASS! and how Bindia just sat throughout the fight only to kick this guy in the B***s without even getting up and getting back to watching as if she didn't do anything while the guy cries out in pain! LOL! FANTASMIC!
2. The Last Match was unbelievable, I watched that game 4 times and still got excited doing it each time! When Kabhir figures out the striker is going to hit straight in the middle and screams in his mind for his goal to look at him and for a mn you think she won't, and then she does! You see the relief on his face and you feel it yourself!
3. After the match, when they've won, and Kabhir finally realizes what happened and he's stumbling backward in shock and amazement... SRK's acting skills are to be praised, because I felt it!

Watching ChakDe India is like watching a fixed match whose result you already know, but you still feel the excitement. I give full credits to Shimit Amin for the excellent direction. Watching SRK act is a treat, he should do more such films which showcase his acting not his King Khan image. This is an sports flick and unlike other sports flick it concentrates only on our national sport. Thanks to SRK, a lot many people now know that there Hockey is a 70 minutes game with two halves of 35 minutes each and a lot more about a sport which no one cares to watch these days. It's undoubtedly the best sports movie made in Hindi film industry.
The movie is well made with good screenplay and dialogues. Some dialogues are really touchy and some make you smi0le. All the girls though not very good actors have done there part well, specially the girl who played Komal Chautala. I also liked the songs, they are really inspiring and suit the mood of the film.
With all these plus points, there are some negatives also, like some scenes have been dramatized unnecessarily (YRF effect may be), like the end and the climax. But overall packaging is really beautiful to conceal all other negatives. It's a must watch, and I would rate this movie as 8 out of ten.
