After a very long gap, I have seen such a marvellous plot in tamil cinema. The film really begins like a journey when the title song opens with eye-catching visuals.
The story is a fast-paced one and you would never feel bored during the entire journey!
The songs have been shot in never-seen locations which keeps you involved in the film even every minute. The slapstic comedy in the film keeps you enjoyed for the first half.
The main success of the film must be credited to Surya who has given an extra-ordinary performance in stunt scenes and especially the fight sequence when he strives to save his friend(Jagan).
The director K.V. Anand has also conveyed some messages through the film though not deliberately but you will find that the message reaches you by the end of the film. The film teaches us about the ill effects of the drugs (like cocaine) and Jagan's death shows clearly about the health hazards. Also he has also touched the concept of piracy to some extent.
On the whole, Ayan is a treat to watch
