Hmmm I gotta say Aamir's movies are more society awareness oriented whereas, SRK is just a rainbow of characters. 
As much as it pains me to pick between the two, I have to say honestly, SRK's the king! SOrry!! Though Aamir's really great too!

How is it a hard question? Shah has so many top hits in the box office and he has the 3rd most filmfare best actor awards, 1st in Amitabh Bachchan with 12 best actor awards and 2nd is Dilip Kumar with 8 best actor awards. Aamir is so happy just because he got one Blockbuster film "Tare Zameen Par" lol. And he has 2 best actor awards. Shahrukh is best all the way!

I never knew there are so many fans of Aamir Khan, as you guys are saying that both are good. I have watched three Aamir Khan films, Rang De Basanti, Andaz Apna Apna, and Raja Hindustani. Rang De Basanti was totally garbage, Andaz Apna Apna was alright, and Raja Hindustani was good. I also watched Tare Zameen Par, which was so-so. Shah Rukh Khan's films are great, though when he was new, some of his films were bad, like Maya Memsaab and Oh Darling Yeh Hai India, but films like DDLJ, KKHH, DTPH, Don (alright to me), Kal Ho Na Ho (not good but not bad to me), and Mohabbetain (so-so to me) got him the King Khan. And his acting is AWESOME! I don't know why you would say both are good, but...yea...I am not the only one in the world. So I say Shah is the best!

Both SRK and Aamir are jewels for Bollywood. Both are expert in their own styles.

SRK is a specialist in his masala, romantic, emotional and family drama. But he has also made a statement that he can ACT too, with movies like: Chak De India and Swades. He has also improved in his comic timings.

Aamir is a seasoned actor, who does justice to every type of role. No body else in Bollywood would had done justice to movies like, Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Sarfarosh and next coming Ghajini will be his best yet.

But Aamir can't dance like SRK and SRK can't act like Aamir.

So, u get my point. Both are the Badshah's and we must be proud that we have such great actors like SRK and Aamir.

One more statement, which I would like to make, Amir can never become a good producer like SRK, as he can't sell himself like SRK.

I feel SRK rules in Modesty, his easy-going nature in Media and his lobby of Producers.

Aamir rules only in his PERFECTION.

I actually thought that you guys like Aamir's movies more than Shah's, but now I know that you guys think that he is a better actor. I know that both Shah and Aamir are good actors, but Shah is better. He is called King Khan, because of his acting. the best actor award is given to best actor of the year, not an actor who had good films in the year. Aamir only has 2 best actor awards, while Shah has 7. Shah is a better actor, and you can see it.

You know, you guys think that Aamir is a better actor, but actually I finally saw some more of his movies, and I easily realized that Aamir Khan's acting isn't so emotional. His acting is very serious, but it does not look like he actually means what he is saying, e.g. in Fanaa, when he kept saying those poetry lines, he wasn't emotional. He was just serious, but at the end of the movie, his acting was better. So he takes acting very serious, while SRK doesn't really, and SRK is more emotional.

but to be honest i love aamir khan. not as much as shahrukh but ive been liking aamir since i was a lil girl & he's been in my favorites :) they both are truly great actors. aamir does one movie per year & he always gets nominated & all but sharukh is always nominated & acts in more movies so we see more of him. aamir's acting is like wow. ive watched alot of movies of him & the first one was raja hindustani. one of my all time favorite films ever & i was 8 & i said wow he's truly a great actor. shahrukh is still the best putting all together but i wont say shahrukh isbetter in acting than aamir cuz i think both are great in acting. but i know where meshanna's coming from.

You wanna know the reason why Aamir is a superstar? It's because of SRK. You wanna know more??? SRK said Aamir is number 1 sarcastically and you thought he actually meant it. You wanna know EVEN more??? Look how many movies he has. He has fewer than 40 movies, and only 4-6 are hits. The rest all suck.

SRK has about 60 movies, and about 70% of all his movies are hits. He's even trying new roles now, like a coach in Chakde India and a bad person in Don, other than only romantic roles (as many of you say). SRK does good in ever role. YOU WANNA KNOW MORE????!!!! SRK has the greatest overseas box office success. His success ratio in the overseas is about 85%.

The judges aren't dumb people like you who think Aamir is a good actor. He's been in moves a few years more than SRK, but SRK still has 5 more best actor awards than him.

I really think that SRk is the better actor...his acting is so convincing whereelse i can't say the rest for the other actors.....and if you ask me the last movie I saw that is a non srk movie is jab we met, aaja nachle and tara rum pum...the rest is skip skip through them because they simply bored me. I think aamir's a better actor than SRK..though SRK is my favourite....but i dont think that any one else could have done the roles that Aamir has done where as it is not difficult to act in SRK movies.......moreover Aamir has  fewer  award than SRK becoz the awards r rigged and they give awards to the people who perform at the award shows..they r not completely fair  thats why Aamir never attends them...... moreover Aamir has a fewer movies than SRK so its obvious that he will b nominated a fewer times....... statistics show that aamir has 51% succes at the box office while SRK has 43% aamir has done 35 movies while SRk has about 45 movies......SRK is my favourite but it seems whenever there is a faceoff Aamir always wins

akshay kumar is killing himself to be called king. shahrukh never killed himself. shahrukh always acted in movies and such and never expected to be called the king until people[[fans]] started saying king SRK and such. i dont know why people lie so much about shahrukh khan. go watch all his lifetime movies and biography movies and see. shahrukh is the nicest out of all of them and the most hardworking but some people dont see that. akshay now has started to act in alot of movies back to back and trying so hard to get higher and SRK and suddenly everyone is making him big and all. Shahrukh khan isnt the one paying the people to call him king, he was called king when he didnt even expect it. he's been called the best since a long time. shahrukh always does work for us people, not just cuz he wants to be the best. aamir is a great and strong actor but he cant expect to be called king when he doesnt even work as hard as other actors. yess he puts his all to his movies but what only one movie per year?!? Shahrukh khan is not just a good actor but a great entertainer, and a very nice human being. all these other actors try so hard to be better and put SRK down lately but watch Shahrukh will always remain on top. he will prove to everyone once again that he is truly the best!
