Sholay is the biggest all time hit in India if you adjust for inflation.. so there is no comparison...

and even if u take commercial angle out still its the "baap of all the bollywood movies" with perfect blend of everything... i have heard that we will now have a remake/ prequel/ sequel for sholay... the Pritish nandy deal... i dont think they should try that...
