Aamir khan is a very good actor .filmfare nominated him many times in best category.but he won only two awards.his nominations are:

1-Best actor nominated for Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988.{Anil Kapoor WON for Tezaab,(it was right decision of filmfare)

2-Best actor nominated for"Rakh" in 1989{Jackie sharof won for parinda(,(it was right decision of filmfare)

3-Best actor nominated for "Dil" in 1990{Sunny Deol won for GHAYAL [it was right decision of filmfare)

4- Best actor nominated for"Dil hai k manta nahin" in 1991[Amitabh won for HUM(it was not right decision of filmfare,filmfare should give award to Dilip Kumar for his classic performance in Saudagar)

5-Best actor nominated for "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' in 1992.[Anil Kapoor won for Beta.( it was right decision of filmfare)

6- Best actor nominated for"Hum hain rahi pyar ke" in 1993.[Shah Rukh Khan won for Bazigar(it was one of badest decisions of filmfare.Jackie sharoff and sanjay dutt Gardish and Khalnayak)

7- Best actor nominated for"Andaz apna apna" in 1994.[Nana Patekar won for did classic roles in films like Krantiveer(it was right decision of filmfare,nodout,aamir performed the role superbly but Nana was at his best in Krantiveer.

8- Best actor nominated for"Akele hum akele tum" in 1995[Shah rukh won for "DDLJ"(I am not convinced with their decision.Filmfare should give award to Aamir khan for "Rangela".but,they never nominated him for Rangela.i am stunned .

9- Best actor nominated for"Raja Hindustani" in 1996.[Aamir was also winner. it was right decision of filmfare)

10- Best actor nominated for" Ghulam" in 1998.[Shah Rukh Khan won for "KKHH". (it was right decision of filmfare)

11- Best actor nominated for"Sarfarosh" in 1999.[Sanjay Dutt won for Vastav(it was right decision of filmfare)

12- Best actor nominated for"Lagaan" & "Dil Chahta Hai" in 2001.[Aamir khan won for Lagaan."it was right decision of filmfare)

13- Best actor nominated for"Mangal Pandey" in 2005.[Amitabh Bachan won for "BLACK". it was right decision of filmfare)

in my opinion one or two times Aamir khan was unlucky.
