i think number of movies with comic theme were pretty good last year... so if u havent seen them get a dvd and watch them right away...

golmaal - it was based on some gujarati play and its about 4 friends who are good for nothing... they manage to fool a elderly couple by pretending to be their grand son... the movie saw awesome performances by arshad warsi, tushar kapoor and sharman joshi...

pyaar ke side effects - a good romantic and sex comedy, rahul bose was awesome as ever and for the first time u can see mallika sherawat acting and appreciate as well... ranveer shorey has acted very well...

khosla ka ghosla - movie is abt a simple and honest man anupam kher and a corrupt builder boman irani who has grabbed a plot owned by anupam... how they get it back is the story... the movie is setup in delhi and the delhi culture is very much visible in the movie... those who are from northern parts of india can really identify with it!... ranveer shorey again gives a very good performance...

apna sapna money money - ritesh deshmukh continues his bluff master stint, he is the conman in this movie and an expert in disguises... the movie is a comedy with a tinge of sexual comedy... good performances by ritesh and anupam kher, jackie shroff is an urban don is cool and chunkey pandey as a nepali don is even cooler... spoof on sarkaar and big b is fun...

lage raho munnabhai - munnai bhai and circuit continued their mbbs sprint, this time the social message was gandhigiri but with a comic angle... again perfect chemistry between munna and circuit, quick witted dialogues... boman irani acted very well... and vidya balan smiled beautifully..

taxi number 9211 - two hot heads, nana patekar and john abraham, one a taxi driver and one a rich lad take head ons with each other...

ranveer shorey - i think he is the discovery of year 2006, the guy is an amazing actor...
