Story Review :

Nirantharam Nee Oohalo is the dubbed version of Tamil flick Muppazhudhum Un Karanainagal. This is the debut film of the director Elred Kumar. The first half of the film shot in exotic locales is breath-taking. Chemistry between the lead pair Amala Paul and Atharva is impressive. Interval twist is bang creates the right amount of curiosity. But the second half does not deliver what it promises. Atharva’s and his mother’s bonding and his character’s psychological reasons are well established. There are many unnecessary fights in the film which could have been avoided.

Performances

Atharva Murali, son of hero Murali (Hridayam-fame) has acted well. His acting looks natural and he dances well too. With experience he can become a star.

Amala Paul looks very glamorous and does her characters justice.

Anupama Kumar who plays the mother is very impressive

Watch the movie for

  • Atharva’s  performance is fresh.
  • Amala Paul carries herself well and looks glamorous.
  • Exotic locales shot very well by Shakti
  • Good Thriller by Elred Kumar
  • Good music by GV Prakash

Skip the Movie for

  • Dubbing version at some places is jarred
  • Santhanam’s comedy doesn’t work in Telugu
  • Too much fighting
  • Second half is dragging
  • Suspense loses its hold half way

Overall, debut movie of Elred Kumar is average, but not very gripping. But considering this is his first film, he has done a good job. Niratharam Nee Oohalo is an average romantic psychological thriller.
