Vedhika starred opposite STR in Kaalai, which failed to do well at the box-office. Though Vedika’s energetic performance was appreciated, her career however failed to take off big-time and she was seen only in a couple of movies including Raghavendra Lawrence's Muni (2007).
Now, she seems to be on a comeback trail and is said to be betting big on Bala's Paradesi with Atharva in the lead.
Meanwhile, grapevine has it that Vedhika met STR recently and during the course of the chat, she is said to have suggested that they work together again. In response, STR reportedly assured to give her a buzz as soon as something viable comes around.
If her performance in Paradesi does click with the audience, then she is sure to go places.
