Trisha is one of the more popular and sought-after heroines in the southern film industry. Incidentally, she made her Bollywood debut with Priyadharshan's Khatta Meetha but the film failed to make an impact.
Later, she was slated to work in Ek Prem Katha with Prateik Babbar but things didn't go as per plan.
Meanwhile, it is likely that she may get another offer in Bollywood thanks to her Manmadhan Ambu director K S Ravikumar. It is said that the director is eager to cast her in the Hindi remake of Saamy (2003) with Sanjay Dutt in the lead.
Ravikumar will be directing the movie and wants Trisha on board as he feels that she did a good job in the original with Vikram.
