Stree Shakti to Premiere at Gandhinagar Film Festival

The S V Suresh directed film Stree Shakti has been chosen to premiere in the second Gandhinagar International Film Festival to be held from the August 31 to September 3.

The film highlights women’s plight and fight against societal problems in the present day world.The film was on the backburner for a long time as Suresh could not find producers to back him. Kiccha Sudeep, a relative of Suresh provided financial assistance because of which the film is now complete and awaits release.

Sonu, daughter of makeup artist Ramakrishna, makes a comeback with this film after her marriage to Manoj. She is cast opposite debutant actor Rajeev. Tulasi Shivamani, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sundarraj, and Ramakrishna play prominent roles in the film.
