A few days ago rumours were abound that Shruti Haasan had been chosen to don the female lead in Prabhu Deva's Hindi remake of his directorial debut Nuvvostanante Nenodhantana to be produced by Tips and with the company’s boss Taurani's son, Girish as the hero.
However, confusion reigns over whether she is indeed part of the movie. Sources have it that the producers have now said that her name had not been okayed and the heroine will be announced some time next week.
Meanwhile, it is said that Shruti isn't getting too worked up about it and is instead looking forward to her maiden television programme on MTV - titled 'MTV Rush'.
Also, she has a couple of meaty Tollywood projects on hand thanks to the success of her recent Telugu flick Gabbar Singh.
