Sorry Teacher, a film based on an affair between a lady teacher and her male student has kicked up a lot of dust. According to reports, the film which was supposed to hit the screens this Friday has been stayed by a High Court order and the State Human Rights Commission.
The movie's stills which have been leaked online are supposedly graphic in nature. Associations like the All India Democratic Women's Association and United Teacher's Federation have strongly condemned the Censor Board for giving the film U/A certification (viewing under adult supervision).
“The movie was examined by a panel comprising nine members, and they took the final decision after watching the movie,” explained Dhanalakshmi, Regional Officer of the Censor Board for films in Hyderabad, in an interview with The New Indian Express.
Newbies Aryaman and Kavya Singh star in this Sri Satya directed film.
