The shooting for Shyamaprasad’s latest movie Arike is almost complete. Dileep plays the protagonist, named Santhanu, who is a researcher in linguistics. The movie has Mamta Mohandas and Samvrutha Sunil as the two female leads. The film is the quest of Santhanu to find the real gist of love, whether it is a glitzy romantic dream or a man’s strides to face the reality. Shyamaprasad makes this movie based on a story by Bengali writer Sunil Gangopadhyaya.
“The film uses live sound recording for the emotional perfection of the narratives”, Shyamaprasad said. After Ore kadal, Azhakappan and Shyamaprasad are coming together for this movie. Biju Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar and Urmila Unni play other important roles.
Shyamaprasad has penned the screenplay and dialogue of the film that is produced by T.K.Suresh kumar under the banner of Picture Prefect.
