Actor-director Sasikumar will play a lover boy for the first time in his career in his forthcoming film Sundarapandian, directed by his former assistant Prabhakar.
The film is being produced by Company Productions, Sasikumar’s home banner. Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead, while Vijay Sethupathi, Neethu Neelambaran, Inigo Prabhakaran, Appukutty, Soori, Naren, Sounthara Raja Thennavan, Thulasi and Sujatha form the rest of the cast.
“For the first time, I am playing a romantic hero in this film. Sundara Pandian is a refreshing story and I enjoyed doing it.
“I play a Rajnikanth fan in the movie and I have tried to imitate him in some scenes,” said Sasikumar. The makers plan to release the movie on September 14.
