Actress Revathi, who has already won two national awards for the films Devar magan and Mitr, has won it again for her film Red Building Where the Sun Sets.
The actress turned director has bagged the prestigious award under the Best Non-Feature Film category.
The extremely excited actress said, “It’s a 17-minute long short film on parents and how and what they would have to do to bring up their children to face the challenges of today’s world.
“My joy knows no bounds as I have won the national award; in this context, I also want to add that the film was made primarily to create awareness among the parents and the society and not with the purpose of winning awards. The award, therefore, is a great surprise to all of us.”
