It was recently reported that Kamal would be directing Fahadh Faasil soon, in his next movie. But the latest we hear is that the director will be first proceeding with his already announced film Celluloid, which stars Prithviraj and Samvrutha Sunil in the lead roles.
The movie is based on the history of Malayalam cinema, and the scripting has been completed, and the film is expected to start rolling by the end of September. The film will also be Samvrutha’s last project before her wedding, which is scheduled for November.
Though there are some date clashes arising from Prithvi's maiden Hindi project Ayya, Kamal believes that it will not affect his plans.
Kamal’s project with Fahadh Faasil is under discussion, and the scripting is progressing.
