Taking cue from his predecessors like Ashok Kumar, Balumahendraa, Thangar Bachchan, the late Jeeva, Santosh Sivan and K V Anand, popular cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is all set to make his directorial debut with a film titled Yaan. Though it’s not confirmed yet, it is rumoured that the pretty Kajal Aggarwal might pair up opposite Jiiva in this film.
Kajal, who is as successful in Telugu as she is in Tamil, has a couple of biggies in her kitty including Suriya’s Maattrraan and Vijay’s Thuppakki, which would be releasing in the next 2 or 3 months.
The bubbly Kajal is at present away from the country to honour her shooting commitments and would be back only in about a fortnight’s time from now. Chandran says that he hasn’t yet met her or spoke to her about the film. “I can only confirm when I have spoken to her on her return.”
Elred Kumar is producing the film which is to be made in a grand manner.
