A couple of days back, the media was abuzz with reports that actress Sujibala had attempted suicide and was admitted to a private hospital in Nagercoil in a critical state. The actress was reportedly ‘ditched’ by her director boyfriend Ravikumar who had promised to marry her and then did the ‘disappearing’ act.
The couple was to wed at the famous Murugan Temple at Tiruchendur. A day prior to the wedding, Sujibala was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state after taking an overdose of sleeping pills. Some claimed that Suji’s suicide attempt was to stop the marriage altogether while others said that she was disappointed by the disappearance of Ravikumar.
However, Sujibala met newspersons yesterday and said that she fainted as she had taken the ‘wrong’ dose of pills and didn’t attempt suicide. “My love life is going on smoothly and I’m likely to get married to Ravikumar in October,” she said. She also added that she may not be in films after her marriage.
Ravikumar, in the meanwhile, has now gotten in touch with Sujibala. He is reportedly ‘moved’ by the affection that Suji has for him (sounds filmy?) and has decided to marry her at any cost.
