A complaint has been filed with the Kerala Film Producer’s Association against actress Padmapriya by M A Nishad, director of the actress’s latest Malayalam film No.66 Madhura Bus.
The actress has been alleged of not cooperating in the making of the film. Nishad says that despite agreeing to a remuneration of 8 lakhs at first, Padmapriya later demanded another 2 lakhs through her manager, if she was to act in the film.
The actress is also said to have shot only for 14-16 days, despite allotting 22 days for the movie. The director further alleged that Padmapriya did not participate in the promotional activities of the film.
The film, which also stars Pasupathy, Shwetha Menon, Makarand Deshpande, Mallika and Thilakan, failed to do well at the box office.
