Director Kathir of Idhayam fame slipped under the radar after a few below par performances.
The Kadhal Desam and Kadhalr Dhinam director is now back after a break and is making a film titled Kodai Vidumurai with Shaam in the lead role.
The director who has till now only worked with Ilayaraja and A R Rahman, has chosen to use newbie Prasanna as the music director.
He apparently chose Prasanna because his favourite Rahman was busy with his other commitments. Also, Kathir has plans to shoot songs in the exotic locales of Egypt and Australia.
