The Shivajinagar (Bengaluru) police have registered a complaint against actor Diganth on charges of driving rashly and causing injuries to a motorbike rider apart from damaging his motor bike.
The accident occurred on Saturday night in the Shivajinagar police station limits and an FIR has been registered after the person complained against Diganth.
However, Diganth says that he has nothing to do with the incident and he has been falsely implicated. “I have nothing to do with the accident. It was my driver who was driving the car and not me. My driver was taking the car in reverse when he dashed against a motorbike coming from behind. My car as well as his bike was damaged.”
“Compared to his bike, my car was more damaged and still I was prepared to pay the required amount for the repairs. But he left without asking anything and later I received many SMSs indicating that I have to pay a big amount to him or otherwise he will lodge a complaint against me. I didn’t budge to his threats and later I heard that he lodged a police complaint against me. I am falsely implicated because I am a celebrity and I don’t have anything to do with the accident,” says Diganth.
Diganth is hopeful that he will come out clean soon and he will prove that he is innocent.
