Billa 2 which has been named as David Billa in Telugu will be releasing on June 22. This Ajith starrer, which is a prequel of his earlier hit Tamil movie Billa is being dubbed into Telugu as David Billa.
The Telugu version of Billa was earlier done by Prabhas, and after its failure at the box-office, Prabhas was not keen on doing the prequel. This has prompted the producer Shoba Rani of SVR Media to dub the Tamil film into Telugu.
The film has Parvathi Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah as heroines, while Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. Chakri Toleti of Eenadu fame is directing the film.
