The talented cameraman Shyju Khalid, who is noted for his work in films like Traffic and Salt N Pepper, is getting ready to don the hat of a director. He is currently giving final touches to a script which is expected to go on floors in February next year.
Another cinematographer turned director Amal Neerad has agreed to produce the movie in his own home banner of Amal Neerad Productions, which had recently produced the hit Bachelor Party.
Shyju will be completing his new projects, Da Thadiya… for Aashiq Abu and the new Sameer Thahir project with Dulquar Salman before heading for his debut movie as a director.
Meanwhile, Shyju's last film in theaters 22 Female Kottayam has already completed a successful 100 days run on release centres.
