Channel:

From a human resources (HR) professional in the corporate world to the world of acting. It isn't a journey that happens very often. However for Angana Roy, who is making her entry in the film industry with Ragalaipuram, a full-fledged comedy with Karunas, it is one way to gain stardom and achieve success.

The film is in the making and sees Karuna act alongside veteran comedienne Kovai Sarala for the first time, but it is Angana who is making hay while it shines. Even before the movie has hit the screens, she is said to have already bagged the lead role in three more Tamil films.

And, she is pretty excited about the way things have gone so far for her in Kollywood.

The actress, who quit her job as HR manager in a top corporate last year to take up acting said that she modeled for a while before a friend suggested that she should get into acting. It has been one memorable transition and to be in the spotlight is some thing everyone dreams of.

Ragalaipuram is a film about two police personnel, one of whom is a brave one and the other a timid person. Karunas plays the timid cop. It is said Angana has shot almost shot one-fourth of the film and has another 15-20 days to go to complete her part.

Angana has also been signed up to act in a A R Murugadoss venture in which he is supposed to launch his brother.
