Amala opposite Dhanush in Sottavalakutty

Amala Paul was supposed to play Dhanush's love interest in Aishwarya R Dhanush's directorial debut 3. Similarly, director Sargunam had approached Amala for his movie Vaagai Sooda Vaa.

However, somehow things didn't work as Amala was said to be busy at that time.

Now, things seem to have fallen into place and the buzz is that the three-some are set to work together in a project titled Sottavalakutty.

This film is touted to be a romantic comedy and will be produced by Kathiresan, who had earlier produced movies like Pollathavan and Aadukalam for Dhanush.

Sources said that the shoot for the film is likely to commence in September. It may be noted that Amala recently signed Samuthirakani's Nimirndhu Nil which stars Jayam Ravi.
