The extraordinary performance of Kicha Sudeep in Eega has not just brought him laurels from all quarters, he is now in demand in Tollywood as well. To start with, almost five of his earlier Kannada films' rights have been purchased by Telugu producers and they are now planning to release the dubbed versions of these films. Kicha Sudeep has been one of the top Kannada heroes and his antagonist role in Eega has helped him very much in proving his mettle outside Karnataka.
Leading the dubbing bandwagon, A Kishore has brought the rights of Huchcha and has already started dubbing work. The film starring Ramya opposite Sudeep has been directed by Guru Dutt.
The Telugu producer wants to use the popularity of Sudeep before the Eega buzz fades out and is planning to release the dubbed version by August month end. This would be followed by four more films. Indeed, a new market for the actor, who is yet to sign any other Telugu film.
