Actress Shruti Haasan was spotted in Hyderabad a few days back when she had come to attend the audio launch of the Telugu version of 3. Shruti, who is paired opposite Pawan Kalyan in his upcoming film Gabbar Singh, spoke to the pressmen on the sidelines of the event. “Working with Dhanush was a nice experience; we’re professionals and our relationship doesn’t go past what is seen on-screen,” said Shruti.
The topic of her inevitable “break-up” with Siddharth was brought up by a scribe. Smiling ever-so beautifully, Shruti said “The question of “break-up” doesn’t arise as there was no relationship between me and Sid. It’s a fact that we have worked together in a few films and he’s a good friend of mine. There’s nothing much to add on the issue.”
Shruti was at pains to insist that there were many things to look forward to in 3 besides the hugely popular “Why This Kolaveri Di…” song. “First of all, I signed up the film because I liked the script. Aishwarya, who has directed a film for the first time, has done a terrific job. The film has shaped up well and I’m particularly in awe of my character in the film. I earnestly hope the audience too likes it,” concludes Shruti.
