While Rajini fans wait to catch a glimpse of their Thalapthy in director Soundarya’s photorealistic film, Kochadaiyaan, his previous blockbuster Sivaji (2007) is being converted to 3D.
The conversion process began in June last year at Prasad VFX studios in Chennai. Producer M S Guhan of AVM studios is supervising the frame-by-frame 3D conversion, which is being done by a team of over 400 VFX experts.
Superstar Rajinikanth, who watched the preview of the 3D version is said to have been extremely impressed by the result. Sivaji 3D is likely to be released in September this year, two months before Kochadaiyaan’s release.
Looks like a double treat awaits Rajini-addicts this year!
