Megastar Mammootty will play the male lead in the film adaptation of Zacharia’s famous novel "Praise the Lord". Shibu Gangadharan, an associate of Rajeev Nath, helms the project scripted by T.P. Rajeevan.
Mammootty who had immortalized several village characters like the ones in Valsalyam or Palunku, plays the role of a central Travancore based farmer who is totally ignorant of the outside world and developments. But accidently, he comes across a romantic couple who totally alter his outlook about the world.
Manoj Menon produces the film under the banner of Reels Magic. The film is expected to be on the wheels this year. Mammootty will start the work of Praise The Lord soon after completing Jawan Of Vellimala.
