Zayed Khan is young and attractive. His family tree is sprinkled with established actors. He hardly raised an eyebrow when he made the move into movies.
Basics on Zayed
Bollywood actor, Zayed Khan was born on 27th April 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is the son of Sanjay Abbas Khan, an actor and Zarine Khan, an interior designer. He has three older sisters, Simone Khan who married Ajay Arora, Suzanne Khan who is actor Hrithik Roshan’s wife and Farah Khan Ali whose husband is DJ Aqeel Ali. His uncle Feroze Khan was also an actor as is his cousin Fardeen Khan.
Zayed got educated at the Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun and Kodaikanal International School, Kodaikanal. The latter was where he met Malaika Parekh Khan whom he married in 2005. They had a baby boy in 2008 whom they named Zidaan Khan.
Zayed Khan’s Movies
Zayed Khan made his debut in 2002 with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne with his childhood buddy Esha Deol. His next movie Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na (2004) brought him together onscreen with Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen and Amrita Rao. It received top billing at the box office that year and also won him a nomination for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.
The movies that followed failed to evoke a similar response – Dus (2005), Shabd (2005), Rocky: The Rebel (2006), Fight Club: Members Only (2006), Cash (2007), Speed (2007), Mission Istanbul (2008), Yuvvraaj (2008). He has worked with actors like Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bacchan and Sunil Shetty.
His releases in 2009 are Blue which is an action based movie shot mostly underwater and Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge.
