Sindu was born on 19th July, 1983, in Mumbai. She has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.
Though she has worked predominantly in the South Indian film industry, her first film was the British comedy, Stiff Upper Lips (1998). She played an Indian girl in the movie, and had a really small role.
Aithe (2003) marked her entry into Tollywood. It was a low budget film, but did exceedingly well.
Her other Telugu films include Athanokkade (2005), Gowtham SSC (2005), Paurnami (2006), Black and White (2008), Victory (2008) and Hare Ram (2008).
